Great location The hotel is family friendly with a elevator Breakfast was great The AC was a bit loud for me but it was great Reception staff friendly Great shower water pressure The pool and outside decking need a bit of renovation - the wood is lifting, and I received a splinter The house keeping was average (not 5 star) - they did not empty our bins a couple of times (and we had a baby in nappies with us...) The turn down service was rubbish - towels not tidied/replaced, bins not emptied, curtains messy closed, chocolates thrown randomly on the bed. Our room was noisy - as it faced the road.

Literally everything! The design the amenities, the location, the service, this place surprised and delighted us around every corner. It was exceptional on every level Nothing!

This hotel is a gem in the best location in Porto. The staff, the room, the ambiance is so welcoming. A must stay in Porto. There is nothing not to like about this property.

The hotel was small and the staff provided truly individualized service as a result. Everyone we interacted with was great. The room was well appointed and the bathroom was fantastic. The hotel also has a resident cat from their neighbor named Blackey, who we loved! Being able to have breakfast in our room was very nice. That we didn't stay longer.

Staff was phenomenal. Tiago in particular was incredibly attentive, charming, and helpful.

We loved Torel Saboaria and will stay here whenever we are in Porto. This former soap factory is gorgeous with a beautiful hot tub and pool and a spa where we received much needed massages. It's close to all the Porto highlights but just far enough away from the tourist traps to be relaxing and quiet. The breakfast was delicious as well and the rooms are very comfortable. Best of all is the staff. We have never had kinder or more generous service than what we received at Torel Saboaria. Special appreciation to Thiago and Gabriel for their kind attentiveness and local suggestions, though the entire staff was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Very well situated

All the hotel staff were very attentive to our needs. The reception staff (Santiago, Tiago & Inês) were very helpful with recommendations each day. The staff working on the breakfast were fantastic each day. The cleaning staff would make the bed & leave the room spotless each day. Thank you! We booked a Mezzanine room. For older couples, who may have bad knees or get up in the night, the spiral staircase from the bed on the mezzanine to the lower floor would have been difficult. This was recognized by the reception staff and we were allowed to move to a different room.

Beautiful large rooms with exquisite beds, pillows, towels and amenities. The staff were phenomenal and couldn’t be more attentive and helpful. The restaurant had great breakfast and dinner. Absolutely nothing, This was a perfect example of a great hotel and staff for a very reasonable price.

You might stumble upon a perfect combination between impeccable service, comfortable room and delicious food a couple of times in life: this will be one of them. The service was welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout, and truly made us feel at home - Gabriel, Luciano, Inês are among the many lovely folks who made our stay unforgettable. Combine that with a breakfast that is at the same varied but constrained enough that you can choose a series of dishes without feeling stuffed, and you got a winner. But top it all off with a room that is spacious, quiet, comfortable and well stocked with everything you can think of needing, and you have a hotel you’ll want to come back, time and time again. We also made use of the spa facilities, with a lovely steam room, jacuzzi and pool, which were super lovely. Unforgettable holidays.

Amazing rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was phenomenal. Great to have access to the pool, jacuzzi, and steam room. Would recommend to anyone. A bit of a ways away from the center of town (but easy access to the metro). Views (other than of the garden) were just of the busy street.

Everything was outstanding!! From the greeting at check in to the explanation of the hotel facilities to the gorgeous, comfortable room to the delicious and bountiful breakfast. The staff was amazing and a special shout out to Alfredo who made us feel pampered. Everything was amazing!

It is difficult to put into words how wonderful this hotel and its staff are. My family, a party of 12, arrived for the wedding of my daughter. The hotel is the perfect combination of understated elegance and luxury, while the entire staff works to create a feeling of warmth and comfort. The location is perfect, tucked away on a quiet street close to popular attractions, but still allowing for easy exploration of other interesting neighborhoods. The rooms are beautiful, immaculate and spacious. Breakfast is curated to use the best and freshest ingredients. The spa was lovely and my family made use of the sauna and heated pool. But what really sets this hotel apart is the staff, who coordinated many details, from transportation for the bridal party, to tracking down our grandson's water bottle. No detail was too small for them to manage and care about. Many thanks to Tiego, the Sofias, Alfredo, Lillie, the bar staff and everyone else who made this trip so memorable. It means the world to us. You are all the very best at what you do! Absolutely nothing. It was perfect!
