This place was great...thanks to the owner/mgmt for the ride to Storr upon check-in after my flight was delayed to the next day. Helped save a travel day and hike and didn't miss my schedule afterwards.

Perhaps the best hostel kitchen I’ve ever seen. Very good location. Free coffee was nice. Showers were horrible!!!!! Water only warm, not hot. Had to push a button over and over and over again… every 3-4 seconds to keep the water flowing. So angry I only showered once in four days. Should be illegal. Most expensive hostel I’ve ever stayed in out of sixty around the world.

Perfect location! It’s a hostel, which is fine, but with executive hotel prices. If that’s the case, it would be good to have a decent blanket that fits from head to toe, and a shower that doesn’t require me to keep on hand on the button while the other tries to wash all parts. The struggle was real. The staff were great and it was very clean, but a few too many shortcuts I expect from a 10 pound bed, not one that was multiples of that.

The location This place was ridiculously expensive and you don't even get a towel.

The private family room was nice and the bathroom was only shared with two other rooms.

convenient location. good kitchen facility to make your own food. small rooms to keep disruptions to minimum. hope the place doesn't have a fire. it looks difficult to escape from the upper floors.

Great location right in the middle of town. Great location right in the middle of town. Friendly and accommodating staff. Considerable noise in the evenings. The hot and cold water is difficult to master. And they could've used more hooks on the walls so that you don't have to put everything on the floor.

The staff and kitchen facilities were nice. The bathrooms were horrible, the bedrooms downstairs smelled like mold and we ended up sleeping in our car for the night.

Tipical hostel, good location

Nice and simplistic. Didn't get the chance to use the kitchen or social areas but we peaked in and they looked spacious and had lots of accessories! The bathroom could use a little renovation to be a little more modern and better quality appliances.

Na Staff spoke very little English.

Good location. Affordable. Hot. Smelly. Uncomfortable bed. No outlet near bed. Couldn’t sleep at all due to noises.

Really friendly staff and probably the best value in Portree. It was fun to meet people here and a great hub for adventures on Skye.

The location couldn't be bettter, and the room is really okay for a hostel. The bathrooms were clean enough. The price is literally insane for a hostel. I understand you pay for the location, not for the room itself. But it is still way way too pricey, still the cheapest place on Isle of Skye.

We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked big and airy with high ceilings and a nice view of the water. The bathroom was really dirty, particularly old grime along the bottoms and corners of the floors. The bedroom floor was also dirty and I found myself worried about putting my bag on the floor but there was only a chair and a bunk bed in the room so there was no other place to put a suitcase.

location, kitchen facility. bathroom shared by too many rooms/users.
