Located in a historical building from the 1300s fully renovated in December 2013, the Dolce Vita Suites offers suites in the historic center of Prague a 1-minute walk from the Old Town Square with free WiFi. Due to the historical character of the building, each room is unique. They all feature a living room with a satellite TV with cable channels, air conditioning, an electrical kettle with tea and a mini-bar. The location is unbeatable, a short walk to all of Prague’s main attractions and amenities like supermarkets. Despite being between 2 restaurants, my room was very quiet as it faced the courtyard. The bed is also comfortable, huge spacious room. In addition helpful and friendly staff who respond promptly to queries. If I had to pick, the water temperature in the shower was a bit finnicky for me. As it is an old property (it’s in the Old Town after all), there are some noises from the a/c.

Location was great, bed was comfortable We stayed on the top floor and there was a lot of visible water damage. The walls were very thin so I could hear everything in the room next door. Dusty and not well maintained.

Nice location. Specifically wanted a room with an AC. This room had a very weak AC and the temperature was 28 degrees during the night. Couldn't open the windows because of the noise from the street.

Good location. Little AC machine in the room Nice room There was an awful smell on the ground and first floor, probably from the restaurant next door. The heat obviously didn’t help, but it was bad. The room was fine. A little later check out would be nicer (10 am is too early if you go out for an early morning walk and want to come back to shower. However, they allowed me 15 more minutes to do so).

It was lovely. The staff was so kind and helpful, it’s right in the city center yet very quiet. The room is big, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed it! Nothing!

Great front desk help The bathroom had a bad shower head that leaked and was out of date. The lower one wouldn't stay in place. After the room was cleaned, we noticed a small Lego keychain missing, which was never found. We don't know for sure if someone there took it, but it made us uncertain about leaving our belongings. The A/C did not keep the room cool and was only in one bedroom. Update: the manager or owner contacted me after this review saying that something was missing and was very rude about it. They seemed more concerned about the bad review than about the missing item, and insisted it was not them. Their attitude made me never want to stay there again.

Location and space Hot water for short time, and then it turns to cold Reception leaves at 6 PM and there was no reception in the morning 8 AM. I don’t know when they started their shift.

Location location Location and front desk staff that was helpful. Organized and helpful. Sheets were unclean. We had sugar powder and small hair on the bed and under the pillow that housekeeping did NOT even bother to vacuum. Remember I am not talking about changing sheets after the previous guest’s. I know a lot of hotels do NOT change sheets if they look clean enough. But this one went lower by not even bothering. It is a converted house to hotel. Levels are different between rooms. So always a few steps. Elevator goes only up two floors. So if you get a 300+ room number you will have to drag suitcases up a staircase. Even for room 101 you can’t get off elevator, and roll your suitcase in. You have to take them down 3 steps then another stair case to bring them back up. Bathroom is really small. Any one with a bigger frame will not fit into the shower. Most things are loosely held on fixtures that are loose on wall, the sliding glass panel of shower kept coming off the roller. Hand Towels provided (black) were really old and worn. Can’t believe the property cannot replace $1 towels. Flooring is old and jaded. Just a fancy wall paper on headboard in pictures makes it look reasonable. Else it is quite old and falling apart.
