This was the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The location is incredible as you are right in old town and can walk anywhere. The staff were incredible and made it very enjoyable. De and Katie were very friendly and led very fun pub crawls each night. We met so many travelers during our stay and made it so memorable.

Lovely hostel with everything you need. Facilities were great, staff were so informative and love how Helena can bring a group together for a good time. I did visit during a heat wave but would be best to add ceiling fans or AC. The rooms were unbearably hot

Not a bad thing to say

Good location

Very near to all tourist spots and pubs There was no lift… and age limit which is 45 and above is not allowed in this hostel…I wonder why…
-
very good location friendly staff It is very noisy, the people in the rooms wake up early and blast music, come late and flicker the lights on and off. Staff blast music early morning, the restrooms are very dirty. A little bit of restrooms and showers, rooms have a smell to them

The location of this hostel is excellent. You are right in the city center and no more than a 15 min walk from most major attractions. You are also very close to public transport and have several supermarkets, restaurants, malls, and ATMs nearby. The rooms also had curtains for the bottom beds only. The rooms could do with some soundproofing and updated security technology. It seems like all the rooms are in one floor and with the livingroom being a couple feet away, it can get very loud at night. Although, they do have a curfew that helps with that a bit. I also didnt like the time limit and water pressure for the showers which made it take forever to get a decent shower. Wish they would have curtains for every single bed in the dorms and bigger lockers.

"When entering the place, there is an unpleasant odor that gives the impression that the place is not clean. However, the rooms themselves have no smell. The second issue is that the shower water is only lukewarm to slightly warm — it cannot be made hot enough to be comfortable. The last issue is that the price is high compared to what is offered.

everything is perfect or close to perfect nothing i don’t like

The location and price were very favorable. The evening social activities and bar crawl were loads of fun and helped me connect with lots of others staying in the hostel. The mattresses and pillows were fine, and I liked the privacy curtains (on the bottom bunks). Matina. One of staff members at the front desk was a pain during every interaction. She apparently had a rough day or two, but don't take your personal issues to work. One morning she rudely slammed on the metal frame of my bed, waking me up after I had been out late for the bar crawl, demanding that I vacate immediately... all because she didn't check their booking system to see that I had already extended my stay at the hostel. I needed that sleep! I talked to other guests and they also had miserable experiences with the notorious Matina (from Nepal, in case I spelled the name wrong). The rest of the staff that I interacted with was all very nice, like Anya and Bea.

No aircon, missing privacy curtains for some beds

Hostel was very clean. Reception was very friendly and staffed 24/7. There was a noise curfew which staff enforced so all the party goers could go out together and anyone that wanted to sleep could.

The location is pretty close to the main square and at a walkable distance of basically the main attractions of the city. They host some activities for you to know other guests (games, 'pub crawls', etc). The check-in was pretty pleasant as well, we were given recommendations over the hostel's activities, places to eat, etc. There was construction going on at our floor and the showers were unavailable so we had to go to another floor to take a shower. It was temporary but it was quite the hassle to find a booth available.
