Fantastic hotel, great location and friendly owner and staff. Great location in the historic district of Prato. Close to train station - 10 minute walk and 3 to 5 minute walk to a variety of Supermarkets and excellent restaurants and boutique shops. Room is nice with large bathroom and great pressure in the shower. Bed was comfortable and they had daily housekeeping which was nice. The owner and staff at front desk were very friendly and very helpful in every respect. The great thing about Prato is that it's close to Florence and on the main trainline coming from Venice or Milan.....so you are not switching multiple trains. I would definitely book this hotel when I return to Prato

I booked this property as an airport hotel, it’s about 15 minutes away from the Florence airport. I stayed in a single room, it was very functional and well laid out. The bathroom was small, but no problem there. The AC worked well, they have a limited number of English language TV channels; mostly news channels. This is a great value hotel. Clean and safe. The manager recommended a local restaurant just steps away from the hotel. What a fabulous meal I had, for about $50 or so - a great last meal to close my adventure in Italy. I highly recommend this hotel. One more note, when I did have an issue, management responded very quickly. N/A

Central location for the being in centro. Clean room and bathrooms, and super awesome staff. A little far from the train. We got a smoking room and we are not smokers.

The breakfast is quite satisfactory. staff quite helpful. Intercom is not working. Makes it quite discomforting trying to get help from the front desk. There might be need to have tea facilities for the room.

The Hotel is located in one of the main Square of Prato , with very good bus connection towards different sides of the City. The room allocated was a single room with a single bed , overall comfortable , the heating worked properly and the premise was overall clean. Overall was a good deal, although I suspect I could have mangaed to get a better deal if booked slightly in advance , the price was somehow competitive.

Hotel San Marco is a solid stay. It's not elegant. It's basic and yet, it had everything we needed for one night. The staff was LOVELY and helpful - each one of them! There was a lift and our room (a triple room with a TUB - yay!) gave my husband and I the space we needed plus the extra bed for his snoring and kicking :-) . It was a 5 minute walk to the castle and the most yummy restaurants and shops.
