At summer in Pucón, it gets really hot at night, so very hard to sleep unfortunately.

You don’t need to pay for tax as a foreign tourist but this hostel still charge tourist for tax, I argued as all places that I have stayed didn’t ask for tax, in the end they said only pay with cash so I don’t need to pay tax, which is different from the tax free law.

This is a great hostel, simple yet comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the cookware you need, in good condition and nicely organized, which is rare in most hostels. There was plenty of storage room for food. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had working lockers, and convenient hallway bathroom access. The staff made sure everything was quiet at night. It is well-located, 3 blocks to Pucón's main street and the big grocery store, 3 blocks to any of Pucón's small bus stations. Extremely convenient for doing all the nice day trips around Pucón. There were some small details that made the Willhouse less comfortable: in the bedrooms, no place to hang a wet towel to dry ( no towel racks ). It was difficult climbing in and out of the bunk beds, because they don't have ladders, just little nubs that barely fit your foot. And in the bathrooms, you have to touch the trash can to open it , really disgusting since they don't pop open reliably and you know what people are touching immediately before they touch that trash can lid. Just get rid of the lids, please.

Very bad experience. They cancelled my reservation just because I didn’t respond to a message they sent on Booking. I arrived at 6 PM (during their reception hours) only to find out they had given my bed to someone else. It was a holiday weekend, and I had to find accommodation outside the city at the last minute. Very disappointing.

Welcoming english speaking staff. Could borrow needle with thread for sewing up my backpack. Beautiful terrace where possible to dry clothes if necessary. Overall nice wooden house with kitchen to use located in calm area. Sometimes kitchen occupied, one or two more pans would help.

I did not like one of the staff behavior toward me.. she was rude to me for no reason after I just enter the hostel. That’s not welcoming environment even the manager was not nice . The only really friendly and nice person the Uruguayan girl. The hostel itself is cramped and felt like it’s more like small apartment rather than a house. You hear everyone day & night The good think about this hostel is the location that’s it period

Cosy, wooden hostel near the centre of town. About a 10 minute walk to the lake. Really kind, helpful, friendly staff. Great communal area. The base of the bed (down the side of the mattress) was a bit dusty, but no big issue. The kitchen is a little old, but a new one is currently being built, almost finished! Excellent upstairs outdoors area too!

The mold in the bathroom, the fact that the shower would switch between scorching hot and ice cold and the fact that the kitchen didn't have half of the standard products hostels tend to have such as oil salt peper or sufficient cutlery

Except the owner, the girls are a little rude/annoyed and not really helpful. The trash lid in the bathroom doesn't open, so that you have to touch it, where everyone throws their toilet paper in.

Nice place to connect with other people. Rooms quite small. Bathrooms and kitchen can be quite busy when many people stay at the place.
