I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Puerta Bonito. The location is genuinely hard to beat—everything I wanted to see and do felt incredibly accessible, yet the property itself serves as a perfect, peaceful retreat. My room was exceptionally spacious, giving me plenty of breathing room to truly unwind. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I’ll definitely be back.

Everything. The staff, the cleanliness, the great pool and the workout equipment. Julio and his staff are to notch. Also, the location is excellent. We are going back next year!! It can be a bit noisy but no biggy.

Very centrally located, close to shops, restaurants, bus terminal, and many beautiful beaches. Lovely outdoor pool area with tables, chairs, umbrellas, comfortable lounge chairs and a wonderful pool. The lights on the patio and in the pool make it so you can enjoy in the evening. Very clean and spacious room, comfortable beds, good lighting, air conditioning and fans. Rooftop patio is a great spot to enjoy the sunsets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was a bit sparse for plates and utensils, but otherwise adequate. Location noisy, being on a busy road with large trucks passing by and lots of barking dogs day and night.

The staff was great, very friendly and the property was very well located compared to the activities we wanted to participate in. It was a bit rundown than I imagined, I went with two others and they both saw roaches in their rooms.

The manager and housekeeping were very nice, attentive Very noisy..dogs barking constantly and loud street noise during day. Internet was just marginal in rooms, but good in the work area

Nice location but quite a few hills to climb (steep down to the beach, and an uphill climb to the hotel). Nice staff, very attentive. Several (about 8) bugs in the evening in the room (cockroaches), which is a no-no with my wife.

Great location, friendly and helpful owner, very clean and comfortable. Great internet and other guests were very quiet and respectful. Nothing!

Comfortable, clean, and very pretty Wifi didn’t reach one of the rooms, and when we inquired about it, we were told it was because of the construction. We were offered no solution. Considering cellphone signal is patchy at best, getting wifi signal in every part of the apartment seems very important.
