If you just need an affordable and well-located place to sleep, this does the job. You can easily walk to the bus station and the main street with all the restaurants. The employees are nice enough, and we were able to store our bags at the front for our later flight. The pool is disgusting; you’d probably get a bacterial infection if you went in it. This was a huge bummer, as the weather was incredibly hot and we had picked the place because it had a pool. The bed itself was comfortable, but the sheets and blankets are pretty gross. There were ants in the bathroom, and the shower was hard to work (but it did have hot water). Breakfast is coffee/tea with little toasted bread pieces, a piece of sweet bread of some sort, and butter and jam. We joked that it was “bread upon bread” for breakfast. You have to check out at 10am, which seems pretty early.

They show a low price on Booking to lure in travellers and get reservations and then charge a lot more when you arrive. The lady at reception is very aggressive and rude. She behaved this way even before we discussed anything. She was angry from the very beginning even when asking if I had a reservation. Then she demanded a much higher amount. I showed my reservation confirmation and she said difference was taxes. However, the reservation confirmation clearly says that foreigners are exempt from the 21 percent VAT. In fact it says this in multiple places and the email as well. This has been true for every reservation in Argentina and most hotels and hostels abide by this. She kept yelling at me repeatedly to cancel the reservation. It seems they don’t like paying the commission to Booking so they just overcharge on fake VAT taxes to keep that money instead or force people to cancel and pay them directly at a higher rate, not honouring the discounts they post to lure in travellers with bait and switch tactics and hereby scamming guests as well as Booking. Then she got on the phone and the person from Booking told her the same thing since that’s exactly what it says in their documents. After this, she hung up angrily and kicked me out. It was a waste of time and money for taxi.

Location, staff, AC It’s a very old property. Bathroom was flooded in the room I was given. It gets flooded every time you take a shower. Mirror was all stained, I couldn’t even see my reflection. Breakfast is just bread and coffee. You can’t pay with a card.

Worst experience ever. They asked me to pay outside the app and only gave me their Mercado Pago details. I tried to pay but couldn’t complete the transaction. I sent multiple messages explaining that I was 100% willing to pay in advance, but asked them to please provide other payment methods since I couldn’t pay through Mercado Pago. They never responded — not even when Booking tried to contact them on my behalf. Two days before my check-in, they contacted me and confirmed everything was fine, that my reservation was made, and that I could pay upon arrival. However, just two hours before check-in, the owner called me and was extremely rude, saying my reservation had never been made and that there was no space because I hadn’t paid. My question is: if the reservation was supposedly never made, why did they confirm two days before that everything was fine and I could pay at the hotel? Very poor administration, completely unprofessional and not recommended.

The receptionist was very lovely and tried to help me out as much as possible. I didn‘t even get the chance to stay there as although the host contacted me and told me to contact him via WhatsApp, and my reservation on booking was still there, he canceled the reservation last minute when I arrived at the place. I believe do to the price discount on booking. His reasoning was, well there was no payment done yet, which neither by him nor booking was required in beforehand.

Nothing The worst place I have ever seen!!! The room and the bathroom was VERY dirty. The door to the bathroom did not close because the handle did not work. There were no towels and when we asked for them, the stuff asked if we actually need two towels, each for one person.. The linen were dirty, thus we slept in our sleeping bags. The stuff was unbothered by anything. The were ants in the room.

Close to bus station, there are plenty of other places to stay near the bus station. $120 was stolen from my wallet when I left the room for breakfast and didn't realize until I checked out, a $100 bill and 2 $10 bills, they left rest of the cash fortunately. Most probably it was the weekend staff with the key to the room because I had it locked. I hadn't read the reviews prior to booking later on I found out that other people had their money stolen within the previous month at least and www.booking.com has done anything. Other than getting robbed the room is extremely humid and filthy, shower head not working and stinky towel. Worse place I have stayed.

Nice helpful host who offered a different room when our room stank from mould No kitchen tools, not even forks and knifes. Really dirty in the kitchen

The location was good The service was the worst I ever had. No clean, no towels, no toilet paper neither good pillows or clean bed sheets. In addition to that, no real breakfast was included, they only add hard bread (no good), also didn’t have spoons or forks.

Location is just the positive as it’s close to center BEWARE BECAUSE THEY MY MONEY ABOUT 198,500 Pesos ( 200 EUR) WERE STOLEN IN THE HOSTEL. I CONTACTED THE MANAGER AND TOLD ABOUT IT AND ALSO TOLD ABOUT THE PERSON I HAD MY DOUBTS BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. SOMEONE WENT TO MY PRIVATE ROOM AND TOOM FEW BILLS OF PEROS FROM EACH BUNDLE OF THE MONEY I RECEIVED FROM WESTERN UNION. THE MANAGER SAID I SHOULD HAVE USED THE SAFE BUT THE AVAILABILITY OF SAFE ISN’T CLEARLY MARKED AT THE RECEPTION. IT IS WRITTEN SOMEWHERE ON THE PAPER I SIGNED DURING CHECK IN. THE MONEY WAS HIDDEN IN THE LUGGAGE, SOMEONE JUST TOOM THE MONEY,NOTHING ELSE. THIS PLACE ALSO HAS MANY BAD REVIEWS ON GOOGLE WHICH I DIDNT CHECK BEFORE.

Nothing about this property was nice, the place was filthy to the point that it will make you sick. The humidity on the walls, the dirty bed sheets, the TOILET ? and the list can go on. It’s unbelievable that an establishment like this is able to offer accommodation, I understand is $10 a night but I wouldn’t wanted to sleep in a place like this even for free. I paid cash at the desk and they refused to refund me even though I left the place 10 minutes after I saw the room. Seriously this place should not be allowed on booking.com

If the air conditioning wouldn’t run you can smell mould in the room. Light would work and the staff told me, that’s what it is and I’d have to take it like this. Not even a second trying to fix it. The „breakfast“ 2 time was only served bread without anything to put into (normally you’d have at least some Marmelade or dulce de leche with it, after asking for something they only commented it’s empty. I expect to get new things if you offer „breakfast included“. The kitchen which you can use to cook almost has nothing to actually cook food. As well only tea spoons. No big ones + no forks or knifes. At least once a day the electricity would go off completely and all in all the staff was mostly quite unfriendly - not always, but I’d say 70% of the time. The only nice thing about the place was the location.
