The Food they limit you to only certain amounts Kids would ask for drinks and were rejected each time. Said they did not have it but if anyone else asked they would make it.

Rooms are a little in need of renovation. Our patio door did not lock and just a flimsy chain was added to it

I liked the kids pool area, friendly staff, food was okay, and the location of the hotel. The ocean view was fantastic. The property itself is really old. The hotel needs a lot of renovation. Every time it rained, leaks all over the building. Rooms have old furniture, and AC did not keep the room cold. Needs some ceiling fans in the rooms too.

The selection of alcohol, not much variety other than the house brand and a few common spirit brands. They were also remodeling the hotel so it looked a bit messy at the elevator sections.

Nice decent pool Food didn’t have any flavor. The floor where we stayed at always had a strong smell like paint that would make your head hurt bad. Not enough beach chairs to sit. The “rules” they have for the pool and kid area are so stupid they sell floaties but the kids can’t wear them to the pool or kids area.

The location was great—close to everything we needed and made getting around super convenient. Definitely one of the highlights of the property! Check-in was a hassle—even though I indicated that I had two children (age 3), they still tried to charge me extra for them. The food options were disappointing for the price we paid, especially compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at. Staff were not very friendly and seemed more focused on upselling than providing a welcoming experience. There was even an incident where someone defecated in the pool, which was not handled well. The rooms were okay, but the shower water pressure was weak and the temperature kept switching from warm to scalding without touching the handle.

The staff were exceptional. Food was good. Drinks were good. The beach itself is stunning. Elevator wait times weren't great and were sometimes out of order.

The staff and drinks were excellent as was the food and service in the Italian Restaurant. There was plenty of variety of food in the Buffett for breakfast. We only stayed one night. The TV would not turn on, maybe batteries but we were just going to sleep shortly anyways. The room was small, old and needs spiffing up. Patio small but okay. We didn’t use it. I could absolutely not get hot water for a shower but the pressure was good while I was trying to get hot water. I like the resort coffee shop and you had a stocked bar fridge which was a nice touch. It was all inclusive. When I booked on booking.com it stated a $200 resort credit. Be aware that this is a “membership” ploy to get you to their presentation. I’m sure this is a timeshare ploy, so no watching at their special breakfast, no credit. Rooms and resort quite old and in disrepair. No hot water in room.

The only good part was the location and staff was welcoming as well as friendly. Poor and very old built, no renovations, booked the suite but felt like large room with old wooden furniture, sofas were smelling, patio didnt had any furniture, didnt feel comfortable at all. Food/Buffet was horribly managed.

The front desk personnel were very polite. This hotel is rather run down and nothing like what is shown in the photos. The air conditioning in our room was leaking, the curtains were torn and cigarette-burnt, the lock to the balcony window was broken, the towels were stained, the bathroom mirrors had aged (they had black edges) and were dirty (when they steamed up we could se the finger-writing on them by previous guests), at night we could smell other guests smoking weed, there were stray dogs and potentially crocodiles on the beach (as per the sign there), the Mexican restaurant was crazy hot in the evening, so the poor guy cooking the tacos was actually dripping sweat on them... the list goes on. On top of that, I didn't notice booking.com reckoned my children were 0 years old, so I had to pay addidtional money upon arrival for them to stay at the hotel. I had booked 4 nights with the hotel and ended up leaving the morning after the first night. I contacted booking.com and the hotel multiple times, but ended up losing my money for this reservation (apart from a symbolic good will refund from booking.com and a partial refund from the hotel for the additional money paid for my kids).

Cleanliness was an issue, hotel in disrepair, inconsistent items for drinks, shower flooded, A/C inconsistent, very loud at night.

  • Engine customer Jun 2024

The staff were extremely helpful with tourist information and hotel tips on times food and accommodation on rooms ready was perfect Not having more options on food passed 5 pm

  • Engine customer Feb 2024

The alcohol is watered down and the food was terribel

  • Engine customer Aug 2023

Room service wasn’t included for our family members that didn’t get married there even though they were there as wedding party guests. There was no A/C through the hotel, only in the bedrooms. Not all elevators worked for the tower that weren’t suites. There was no food service at the beach. Wifi was a little choppy and the food wasn’t the greatest, but we made the best of it and had a great time.

    Absolutely everything

  • Engine customer Jun 2023

very clean , friendly staff, next to the beach no where to dry wet clothing, food was not that good

  • Engine customer Apr 2023

The front desk staff were great. Brenda and Josa specifically. Our cleaning lady was also wonderful. Having to get up at 6:30 to get a spot at the pool or in the beach. The food was the worst. The taco restaurant wasn’t too bad. The Italian restaurant was okay but the long wait times were way too long to get your food and the dress code did not stay the same depending on who the person was. The Wi-Fi was the worst. Only have one beer selection , well, two with the sun club. The sun club is not that much of an upgrade. Also the website is miss leading. There are photos of the other resort on the Puerto Vallarta website. The resort was too crowded or it’s too small for how many people are in it at a time. My husband got sick from the food and four other couples who that I meet did as well. We will not be staying here again.

pools too small lots of people drinking all day whenever so I’ll leave to urinate. I was warned by the doctor not to get in the pool with open cuts due to bacteria

No place to store clothes in my room. Lounge could have a lot more tables and chairs.
