Location was the only good thing. this property is a complete waste of money. food is below average and staff is only friendly if you have cash in your hand for a tip. go somewhere else 2 of our 3 rooms had roaches and we were on 4th floor in 1 bedroom suites. the plumbing was lousy and shower in one room had no water at all on first day of trip. staff was only nice if you had money in your hand for a tip.

The beach facilities were nice. The room was VERY worn and had ants, the only elevator that went to our floor was broken, there were dirty room service dishes that sat by the elevator the whole time we were there. The food was mediocre. But worst was that my son’s phone was stolen by an employee. Although Find My IPhone showed it on the property and some employees confirmed it was found, it was never returned to us, even after several trips to the guest services the day it was stolen and the day after. We could see it in the property until late the evening it was stolen and the next day it showed up an hour from the property. No efforts to help us retrieve it or file a police report. No effort to compensate us in ANY way. In fact, they tried to say that there was no way to know it was an employee, as if someone paying thousands of dollars to stay there would steal an iPhone and take a taxi an hour away from the property (instead of enjoying their vacation) to try and pawn it. Yeah, right. RIDICULOUS!

There was a little mix up in the beginning but the Host stayed calm and was able to assist me. They made it clear than what was seen online but didn't let that stop them from displaying good customer service. I was celebrating a birthday and the staff did meet all expectations! The room was very nice, comfortable and set up very well. Staff was prompt in cleaning and satisfied all my accommodations. The beach was lovely but we did have to prepare for the weather our last day but we made the most of it with the island's activities which were pleasant too! From breakfast to Dinner the resort was well stocked with all kinds of foods and drinks were flowing. I would make it my business to visit again soon! There was a delay I had with one waiter that called me a derogatory name that was disrespect! I am Black man with integrity and class and didn't make a scene! He called me a slur that I wish not to repeat or type which everyone is aware of in our current climate that things could have escalated much worse. But again, I did NOT make a scene but request another waiter to our table. The rude waiter was very comfortable with the word if I may, suggesting that that IS apart of his language as He sees black people which is very alarming!

There are some things that you can only ask or request in the Reception, and this is too far from some locations of the hotel. The answer from the employees is just: you have to go to the lobby. This make you lose time.

Huge, beautiful and private. Distance from airport….

The staff are all incredibly nice and try their best to help at every occasion. Very impressive that they remember individual guests throughout the week. Our room was on the fourth floor and our elevator did not work all week. The front lobby and associated restaurants smelled like a sewer all week long. The only food that was edible was in the Japanese steakhouse. All other food was over seasoned with sugar, there is no salt and pepper here, and all fish was severely overcooked.

Very nice infra structure in general. The restaurants were good, especially Taino and the french one. The buffet also had good food. Beach was very nice with lots of seats and shade (we didn't have trouble finding a place any day). Pool also was big and nice, although at peak times you might not find an empty chair. The bars of the resort were also good. We had to change rooms because of noise (air conditioning was rattling, which was fixed, but room was in front of the elevator and close to the building entrance, so you would hear loud people outside all the time at night), but both were spacious, with comfortable beds and good shower. There were only some things that were problematic, some out of the control of the resort. The first was the large number of spring breakers in the first nights of our stay, which would make a lot of noise during all the night until at least 3am. We changed rooms to a location further away from the building entrance, which helped, but didn't fix the issue. After our third night most of them left and we had quiet nights. The other thing we didn't like were the craft art sellers that came during the dominican night. Extremely pushy, it felt like we were being harassed into getting their overpriced stuff.

The room itself was nice. Staff did not call us a taxi even though we booked and paid for a taxi for 8am to get back home. They did not get us a car until 9:15 pm and we nearly missed our flight. Additionally, resort lets multiple individuals on the property who harass beach goers to purchase items and give them tips.

I love the entertainment & the decorum. We got scammed 300$+ at the ATM & front desk for our booking. Property staff was not knowledgeable about how much our room actually was & how much was the currency from USD to Pesos.

Most of the staff attend in a bad mood in a grotesque and derogatory way, they never leave clean towels and the dirty ones are put on the tables or taken away but they do not change them for clean towels, only some employees are friendly but most attend in a grotesque way, the hotel smells too musty and does not look clean, I do not consider this hotel as 4 stars hotel.

I loved the Beach and the layout of the property Everything was wonderful

The location right at the beach is amazing So may things: the hotel has many water leaks, the surprised us with a $1,500 usd extra charge, it feels like they are scamming you all the time you are there. Food not very good, stuff feels underpaid, blankets have wholes, we got a lot of bites we don’t know if bedbugs or something else, food poisoning was part of the experience also, seafood not very fresh so be careful.

We loved the Majestic resorts. We were lucky enough to experience both a little of the Elegance as well as the Colonial and both resorts exceeded our expectations. The staff were all so friendly and remembered you when the saw you and were quick to interact to make vacation fun. We traveled to Majestic during Super Bowl 60 and the festivities were just as much fun. Beach football games and the game being shown in the resort theater. One or two of the buffet theme nights were not too great but that was more of our taste and not the quality. The beachfront of the resort was so much better than rival resorts around the Majestic property. We very much enjoyed Club perks, we will be returning and re-booking with Club! Caribbean Street vendors on Thursday nights. I understand these vendors are trying to make some money to live and feed their families but it is borderline harassment from them when walking in that area on Thursdays when the vendor tables are set up. They’re tricky too. They will try to get you to view/handle items and have you commit to buying it. After our first night experiencing this, we avoided the area all together on the following Thursday. Be warned. I also noticed 1-2 times where my chicken was not fully cooked when coming off of the buffet line. I avoided getting any food sickness, but be aware of the temperature of your cooked chicken if going to eat some!

The beach was amazing! It was super clean and gorgeous. The swimming pool was awesome. The drinks were great - can't beat all-inclusive! The Supreme breakfast buffet was delicious. The grounds were very well manicured and beautiful. the beach would have been perfect if there were more lounge chairs and more service from the bar instead of people trying to sell me foot massages, sunglasses, hats and jewelry. One day the wi-fi was not working for 3 hours which made it difficult to communicate with friends.

We stayed in a swim up suite. It was nice to be able to sit right outside the room and not have to find an empty lounge chair on the common pool deck. The pool bar was also right across the walking bridge from our room/ The hotel was clean and well maintained. The beach was also clean. They did a good job of keeping the seaweed swept. The food was OK, not great but not bad either. About what you expect when they are cooking for hundreds. The variety was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
