I truly enjoyed my stay at Art Villa Dominicana! The location is excellent, just a short distance from the beach, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The neighborhood also felt very safe. The property itself is beautiful, lobby and reception area feature exquisite mural paintings, and the artwork continues throughout the building, including the guest rooms, every floor, and even the terrace. It creates such a unique and welcoming atmosphere! The morning coffee is absolutely delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. There are also plenty of nearby daytime and evening attractions, as well as excursions, to enjoy during your stay!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. What impressed me the most was the incredible staff—they were genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and local attractions. I also loved the delicious homemade breakfast and spending time on the rooftop terrace with its beautiful views. When you’ve been to the Dominican Republic before and are familiar with the characteristics of hotels in this region, you begin to appreciate the balance between price and quality. Don’t expect luxury service from this hotel, but for its price range, it’s fantastic! Beautiful views, a delicious breakfast, friendly staff, a magnificent terrace, spacious rooms, decent Wi-Fi, and a great location (near the beach and restaurants). And a reasonable price. I understand that once the rooms are renovated, the price will go up. The only thing I would suggest is renovating the rooms. They feel a bit outdated, and a refresh would make a huge difference. With modernized rooms, this hotel would easily become one of my favorite places to stay.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful place at the last minute! When we think of last-minute bookings, we often picture a motel on the side of the road. This room was a cozy, comfortable, clean, and pleasant surprise! Thanks to the staff for being an oasis along the way.

Really comfortable, the staff are attentive.

The place is terribly dirty. Nothing works, AC, Wifi, wtf. Just a terrible dirty hotel.

Parking limited

Need to clean the bathroom

Nice location The staff were very rude and overcharged me. The hotel was over priced to begin with, and the staff used a higher exchange rate and charged me 5% more. Not worth the price. The place was very dirty and shower was broken

The reception guy was very helpful, and even drove me to the airport when I left.

Nice staff , close to the beach and restaurants Na

The staff were very nice. It was a good location. The bed was quite hard and not very comfortable.

It was in a quiet part of town but still close to the beach. Pleasant decor and good shower. We preferred the ceiling fan because it was quieter than the air conditioner, but it was connected to an annoyingly bright overhead ceiling light.

Nothing, this place is a scam basically, you pay for pictures that were probably taken 20 years ago, and since then, they have not worried at all to maintain, prevail, conserve, clean, or even pretend. Staff is unfriendly, rooms are dirty, pictures are from many years ago, location is not that great compared to other places at the same price.

Nothing about the hotel pleased me. I booked three rooms, but upon arrival, one of the reserved rooms was unavailable, which was very frustrating. There were no towels in the rooms, and when we asked at the front desk, we were told there were no towels available at all. Additionally, there was no hot water , only cold water during our stay. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and the rooms faced a very noisy street, making it difficult to rest. Overall, this was a terrible experience.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Nice walk to the beach with tons of little shops along the way. Sink area was a little small in the restroom but that was not really a problem we found space elsewhere.
-
Close to beach Noisy street , lacked pool
-
The room was infested with mosquitoes, they don't clean it daily, I had to use the same dirty towel for days in a row, the shower didn't have any hygiene facilities, such as body wash or shampoo, the parking lot was super small,

The place has a lot of potential, it's a shame that the owner does not invest the time and effort. The mattress in the room we stayed was discussing, it had to be over 20 years old and so so so dirty. I complained to the staff and the changed us to another room. Also, the owner was not very friendly and was arguing with the customer. Not a cool thing.
