Greart hotel and staff, best location in QRO.

The building is gorgeous and it was in a lively and central part of Queretaro. My room had no towels or toiletries provided. I asked for them to be brought after checking in and the front desk forgot, I didn’t get soap or towels until the evening. My room was facing the plaza and it was extremely loud until about 1am. I asked if there was another room I could move into, and the receptionist said she would check. I didn’t hear back and attempted to go to sleep. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise and also the air conditioning didn’t work. I stopped at the desk a few hours later and asked if they could provide a fan when the receptionist told me they had found another room I could move into. I asked why she hadn’t informed me earlier and she made up an excuse. I asked why the elevator didn’t work and she said “because the building is very old” which is true, the building is old, but the elevator isn’t. I was uncomfortable with the excuses and white lies and this in addition to the pool being dirty, the quieter room still being loud, and the lack of AC and I decided to end my stay early. I do not recommend this hotel. Queretaro has better options.

It was right in the heart of the downtown area. The restaurant had a great view! We were so busy we didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice. The room decor was amazing and felt very inviting. The A/C also worked well. The shower kind of sprayed everywhere but nothing we couldn't manage.

Clean and very welcoming Nothing

Pealing paint in our room. One of the bathroom lights was out making it dark to apply makeup.

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel. Food was delicious. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and engaged. Water heater broke my last day there. No hot water for guests. Had to resort to a cat shower. Staff said they would compensate me for this issue. Also breakfast was included with my stay. I ordered breakfast later to be told what I ordered was not included in my breakfast so I was charged additional amount. Would like to have known this before ordering. Luckily I was able to warn my friends who travelled with me so they wouldn’t be charged more.

Muchisimas Gracias! The reason my review is not amazing is due to the buildings stair situation which I know its a beautiful old historic property. But I would highly recommend at least installing hand rails. I had no issues with the stairs but my 84 year mother was scared. I also dont like the refund games booking.com plays! The hotel was super gracious and right away agreed to a refund BUT im still waiting on booking.com.

The hotel room was great but the music from the restaurant at all hours was untenable. They have beautiful rain showers but the water is always just a bit too cold. Staff, location, and room No handrail on stairs. Most rooms were on 2nd floor. Electricity went out for hours after dark

There were no bannisters on the stairs. We had a power outage and the staff did not provide flashlights. Water in the shower wasn't hot despite requesting it.

Clean and great location. 1st floor rooms super noisy late at night and early morning due to proximity to lobby and nearby storage rooms for restaurant. One morning the coffee was cold and old. I complained and front desk reheated it to lukewarm. Told me to get cream at restaurant. Tasted awful. No Mexican bread, no napkins and no creamer. If you are going to advertise free coffee and bread, then make an effort to actually serve hot coffee and get some bread. They did have both the next day.

We don't eat breakfast; but the courtesy, kindness and professionalism of the restaurant staff was exceptional.

The location is amazing. Has lots of character. With it being in the center of the city, it does get quite noisy, but is expected.

Just a wonderful comfortable stay for the weekend. Amazing staff, comfortable room, and the restaurant was excellent. You are staying on a plaza in Mexico. If noise offends you don't book a balcony room. However, we were delighted that everything was quiet by 10pm. This is a great place to stay. Eek we didn't have hot water the day we left. But it really wasn't a problem so we didn't say anything. It had been raining a few days so it's possible the property uses mostly solar for hot water. This is common in Mexico and I feel confident the staff would have resolved it had we brought it up.

Great stay! Loved the location, comfortable rooms and helpful staff.

Location and food The room smelled bad (drainage), especially the bathroom Found a needle in the mattress, but no actions were taken by the property to make it right.

We love staying at Hotel Plaza de Armas in the heart of colonial Queretaro. The staff was super helpful and catered to our requests. Our room was lovely, with a super comfortable King size bed and a balcony overlooking “Plaza de Armas” square. Overall this hotel is a special find for those seeking an immersive experience of downtown Queretaro.

Location is excellent. Reception staff all very helpful and friendly. Bad bathroom smell from drains. Breakfast included in payment but options limited when ordering.

Beautiful location on a lovely square, but also noisy. We had to change rooms due to a plumbing issue and thought we had gotten a quieter room, near the pool, but then the staff made a lot of noise before 8 a.m. right outside our door.
