Beautifully upgraded historic building with great staff and food. Nothing

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Great rooms. So peaceful and relaxing.

Beautiful hotel in the downtown (ZTL) area of Radda. (ZTL stands for Zona a Traffico Limitato (Limited Traffic Zone).) We were able to drive our car through the restricted area to drop our luggage. The room was in an adjacent building and staff helped us carry our bags to the second floor. We requested a twin room with a bathtub, if possible. We were put in a huge room with a freestanding bathtub (and separate bath and shower). It looks like this was an upgrade. Clean, comfortable, modern and quiet. The air conditioning worked great, even though there was a heatwave during our stay. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. Location was right in the center of the town, easy walking to the entire town. Free street parking was available a short walk away, outside of the city walls. No complaints

Our room was enormous and perfectly appointed. The staff were absolutely amazing offering great recommendations and advice.

Radda and Palazzo Dimora Leopoldo in Chianti has been the most incredible place in Italy. It is Amalfi without the coast but better because there are no crowds, no instagrammers, no annoying tourists. The people who are there are there for the beauty, the culture, ambiance and peace. Everyone is so polite to each other. There is respect and kindness. Will definitely return. Sylvia ( blue haired server) was the greatest. Grazie Mille!! I didn’t like that we had to leave.

Staff was great! There was too many steps. I hurt my knee walking up the steps. My wife had to assist me after the fall and got NO sleep. We had to call a Doctor to come to our room and give me a shot so I could get to my car. My wife had to drive us to another more expensive Hotel with No steps. If you don’t want to go up two to three flights of stairs to eat, sleep or get your car DON’T stay here.

Amazing location hard to get to without a car but amazing The staff and area

Breakfast was varied, well beyond pastries and coffee. The hotel overall and the rooms recreate the 19th century design with 21th century comfort. Spa is pretty expensive.

What did you like about the property? We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was incredibly beautiful, cozy, and full of charm — one of the most memorable rooms we’ve stayed in. The breakfast was also exceptional: fresh, delicious, and served in such a lovely setting. The staff were all very kind and welcoming, which made our experience even better. This is truly our favorite hotel on this trip.

Our room exceeded expectations, beautifully blending the charm of the historic Palazzo with modern amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the wine tasting, which was both educational and enjoyable, and we came away with a deeper appreciation for the wines of the region, including the renowned Super Tuscans. Breakfast each morning was a delight for both the eyes and the palate, with a wide variety of options. The smoked salmon was an unexpected and welcome treat in Italy. The panoramic views from the property were breathtaking, adding to the sense of being in a truly special place. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Palazzo Leopoldo to anyone visiting Tuscany. And I highly recommend Radda as a stop on your Tuscan escape.

This was such a cute town! The hotel was minutes from so many great restaurants. We couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfy and the views were SO BEAUTIFUL! I’m so happy we added this stop to our Italy vacation.

Where to start. We arrived late in the evening, night Portier present, or better to say not present. When he finally showed up, no English, like zero and horrible facial expressions just because we wanted to check in. Apologies for paying for your salary with our presence sir. Room was located literally beside reception which wouldn't be a problem if for some reason, from one of millions doors in room would often come very loud disturbing noise! Also, bathroom doors are SO loud, when opening and closing that I'm surprised that other guests didn't hear them, nevertheless your partner in room. If you go to toilet you're both awake, 100%! And bare in mind, this is their best room, "junior suit" with spa access. Cleaning! Or better to say, lack of it. Shocking to even write that after 3 days I had to go to reception and ask if towels will ever be changed, or bins emptied or something, to get response like it's my first time in hotel that towels have to be on floor to be replaced. Well, news for you KAREN, they don't! If towels are used they should be replaced daily. We took 2 plates to room after breakfast, and left the room, returned late in evening to find those same plates still on table with toast and butter and cheese after room was cleaned?! Also shocking lack of attention to guests from reception with zero questions about our stay, especially on check out where instead of usual questions about our stay only words after I handed in the key was - you need to pay tax changes! No problem KAREN! Anyway, 4 stars is a dream for that hotel, truly
