AmericInn by Wyndham Rapid City

This was my first time using AmericInn. I was impressed by the how clean the common areas were and the nicely updated room. Overall, I'll certainly look for an AmericInn option when I travel. The price was good and the stay was nice.

We were on a three-week cross-country road trip and this was the best place that we stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless. This is one of the best breakfast offers I have ever received from a hotel. They had two staff members constantly bringing out hot fresh food, utensils and cleaning the dining area. I thanked the gentleman who cooked the bacon to perfection. If I am ever in the area I will stay here again. Thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable!

Easy to get to off of the highway clean rooms and easy breakfast!

Nice and clean. Spacious room. Hot tub and pool area was clean with towels available. Many options for breakfast and had staff cleaning in many parts of the building.

Got to the hotel at 8pm and they cancelled our room- said it was a problem with the card- which we used with no problem to book another hotel. They did not call or reach out- just gave our room away unapologetically. Will never stay at this chain again. I’m diamond with Hilton and have never experienced a room being cancelled and basically being told tough luck!

My main complaint is that WiFi isn't actually free - you either pay with your email address and a compulsory sign-up for the Wyndham loyalty program or they charge you $4.95 per day for unsecured, unencrypted, basic WiFi. Clearly not courting business customers, this is bizarrely behind the industry standard to include WiFi in the room cost.

Great room, price was competitive. My son loved the slide, I loved the hot tub. This was the last night of our week trip to the Badlands and Black Hills, was nice to do some laundry while there. My husband used the gym. All was clean and well maintained.

Good location, comfy beds. Waterside was fun, pool was pretty good. Continental breakfast was okay, some good options. We got a suite for a family of 5, it was spacious but a weird layout.

Room was very nice for family of 5, Bathroom had 2 showers, a tub, and private toilet. there was hair that was not ours on the floor along with the floor being very dirty, which is kinda expected and reasonable for slippers, flip flops. Hot tub is small but HOT. 12 year old and 6 year-old loved the slide

Room was exceptionally clean. Updated, modern furniture. They should try to keep children on a separate floor. Didn't appreciate hearing kids crying and running up and down the hallway. The continental breakfast needs a different layout. With so many people using it, it was jammed and difficult to get what you wanted.

The shower was nice, the room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The pool was nice. Our room wasn't cleaned. Trash was taken out. I had to go get clean wash clothes. The floor wasnt swept. I understand the bedding wasn't changed but the beds weren't even made. For $286 a night the beds should've been made. We'd come back at night to a dirty room. The jacuzzi wasn't working correctly. The jets barely worked. The pool water wasn't very warm. I didn't like the fact that we couldnt take the towels out of the pool area.
