BEDBUGS!!!! This is NOT a 2 Star motel. It is a 1 Star on its best day. NONE of the pictures you see online are accurate. The 'pool' is surrounded by a link fence with 5-6ft weeds growing all around it and not usable because of destroyed concrete in it. The sign at the motel was the remains busted out by a fire a year ago (says the manager). Electrical work in the rooms is exposed and dangerous. We were provided with ONE miniature bar of soap for a 3 day stay and basically had to go buy our own soap and shampoo/conditioners. No staff to accommodate more towels etc. cleaning up. Roku didn't work. you're left with local TV channels. Staff is rarely available and doesn't respond to phone calls. No info about limited check in times on HOTELS.com. BEDBUGS...our son's room had them and had to leave because of bites. (They did give us a different room which had no bugs. Our room had no bugs.) When told of the bug situation the next morning, Staff acted skeptical and didn't believe us. At check-out, when I requested a refund for just the ONE night because we couldn't use the room, Manager refused. Had to file a charge back on CC. Way overpriced. Motel is one step better than a sleeping bag on the sidewalk. AVOID!

Just okay. Very old property but they’re trying to make the room cute with new paint and decorations. Very sketch part of town with questionable patrons. Did not feel entirely safe. Front desk lady was awesome!!

The motel had several ppl around their rooms some with doors open or sitting outside their room. Entering my room I noticed an old lime in the sink drain along with fruit flies. The room is very dated but beds were comfy. I had an issue with the door lock, ask manager how to work it upon check in. There was enough clean towels for my stay and the bathroom itself was clean. Very basic and close enough to walk and venture out. If I had to I would stay again.

Very clean. Welcoming staff. Close to center. Easy access. Check in time was more 4PM than 3PM. No big deal anyway.

Nice location and the staff is great but it is in serious need of some maintenance. There was an 1/2” gap under our door and it was an exterior door. There isn’t even an ice machine or coffee in the rooms.

We checked the room out and it was not a good place. We did not stay nor were we offered our money back. The picture online did not reflect what we actually saw.

We had a great stay at the Town House Motel. We stayed for Two-Nights and had no issues whatsoever! Rooms were very clean and spacious, the front desk agent was very nice and even introduced us to their adorable kitty cat that stays in the lobby :) Anytime we're back in Rapid City, we'll be staying here!

There wasn't much that was redeemable about the place. The room smelled like smoke. The airconditioning didn't reach the main part of the room. The first time I showered, I grabbed a folded towel from the shelf. After getting out of the shower and unfurling it, I found it had two giant holes in it. The carpet felt eternally damp.

The rooms on the other hand were horrible. The furniture inside looked like it had been bought at a garage sale. In one of the broken drawers of the dresser, we found the smoke detector. There was no door on the bathroom so if you like privacy, forget it. It wasn’t exactly in the best part of town.

Location was good- walking distance to downtown. Low cost compared to other options in Rapid City. No outlets to plug into in sink area for curling iron and razor. Glad we had extension cords for charging devices.

The sign for the front was broken so I thought the property was abandoned at first. The caretaker was incredibly friendly and the lobby had cats, so that was nice. The other tenants of the building are boisterous, but friendly enough. While it's definitely a downscale/scuzzy sort of place, it didn't feel uncomfortable to stay.
