Hotel Alex Johnson Rapid City, Curio Collection by Hilton

Sorry Rapid City… but this hotel was much better than I expected in Rapid City. Rooftop bar was nice, main floor pub was great, and the rooms were super clean. Two thumbs up!!

The room was great, the bathroom was a little small, if it was more than me, it would have been a challenge. Love the plugs and night stands on each side of the bed for the tech and water. The bed and bedding were great. The only thing I wish I knew was don't stay on the side with the alley, the garage trucks come early morning and make a bunch of noise, I was on the fifth floor and could hear everything, I can image the noise on the lower floors

I will definitely be back! I loved where the hotel was located downtown. The hotel staff was amazing, a special shout out to the valet attendants. My hotel room was clean and so comfortable!

The place was great from a historical perspective but is showing its age. For the rate they should be able to maintain a classic look and feel. The staff was great but lacked professional appearance.

Great find in Rapid City! Interesting and well maintained architecture and style in a thoughtfully updated historic hotel. The rooftop bar is very fun!

A lot of history at this location. Was perfect for our days out to all the sites.

Strongly recommend staying here! Great place and the staff was awesome. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows! 😍

Had a minuscule bathroom which is not acceptable in this hotel category. We stayed on the 8th floor but could hear all street noises through the night ( thin window glass). Breakfast is in an Irish pub near the lobby with no healthy choice on the menu. This Hilton hotel is not worth the price. At minimum the hotel should describe rooms with very small bathrooms on its website so that customers are not disappointed.
