The Rushmore Hotel & Suites, BW Premier Collection

Great location. Front desk staff very friendly. A/C did not work 2 of 3 nights. Both nights they replaced a fuse. One night it held, the other it didn't and made for a miserable night. One day upon return, the bed covers were just thrown over the beds. The beds were not made properly. Very unprofessional. Bathroom sink was cracked and blow dryer didn't work properly.

Location and very cool hotel! The door was very sticky and heavy. It was hard to open and close securely.

When we got in the room, there was dirt and crumbs in both beds and a toenail on the floor. They obviously did not clean the room. When we asked for the room to be recleaned, we walked in and the toenail was still on the ground and only one of the gross beds were cleaned. Staff at the front desk were helpful and very nice. The lack of cleanliness made us uncomfortable sleeping in the room.

Had the best location if you’re looking for down town scenery. It was in the center of everything. Nothing at all.

We decided to stay another two nights and were quoted a price. But upon check out our second night cost more. When asking the staff about this, they said the cost per night depends on how many rooms are available. When a price is given, it should be that price. Whenever we asked to speak to a manager, we were told there was not one in the building.

Location No microwave or fridge in the room desk but no pen or paper.

Beautiful setting & lovely hotel!

Good location in downtown Rapid City, near many good restaurants and easy free parking. Decent WiFi. POD coffee maker in the room. Hotel restaurant and bars are very good. It was about a mile from the I-90 which is t a. If deal, but I hadn’t realized when I booked it. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room, which I’ve become accustomed to. As is normal for the area, the price goes up during the Sturgis motorcycle Rally.

We stayed with our pup and they took care of us. Great stay and location is fantastic.

The one negative: some nights there were too many trains going by.

We visited to explore Black Hills and Sturgis 86 th. The location is very convenient for all destinations, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

NOISE!!! A loud train whistle from nearby railroad woke us up every two hours starting around midnight. I would never stay here again.

Location. Facility requires updating in respect to the hotels rating and marketing. Definitely showing it age as to overall condition of furniture and decorating.

Perfect location for Rapid City; however, a freight train runs literally a hundred yards from the hotel. This train runs during the early hours of the morning BLASTING its horn repeatedly as it steams through the city. At least five trains during our first night. Subsequently, our family, including a sick elder, moved rooms. No different the second night. The hotel receptionist was rather (a young man; didn't get his name) dismissive and not interested. However, a young lady named Bella sympathised and arranged another room - sadly still the same. We had no option other than to check out a day early due to a lack of sleep. A very disappointing stay in a City we love ( this was our fifth visit to Rapid City). Our advice - AVOID Rushmore Suites, at all costs.......... Alert people of the clost proximity, and extreme noise of the freight train, and the frequency of train causing noise.
