Casa Gugù Room & Breakfast

Absolutely everything is great about this place. It feels like you are visiting your aunt in Italy. Breakfast is amazing! Rooms are also amazing. I recommend it highly. I am booking it again next time we come here for sure! No complaints!

Location-was very close to most of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The staff were exceptional and very welcoming. We arrived early after a very long flight from the US and we were allowed to check in early. That was a godsend for us. We were greeted warmly and were made sure that all of our needs were met. The next morning, we had a very nice breakfast. The hostess arranged us a ride to the cruise terminal as well. Our first experience in Italy was very pleasant. We would 100% recommend Casa Gugù. N/A

Exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful owner and staff. Assisted when one of us had an accident and needed medical attention. Ideal location, charming interior courtyard for afternoon tea or glass of wine. Excellent and copious breakfast. Have traveled extensively and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Can’t think of anything

The breakfast was excellent. Defiantly a taste of Italy. Very fresh and delicious. The location of the R &B was wonderful and in the old district close to shops and eating establishments. Casa Gugu was walkable from the train station.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The check in process was seamless and our room was cozy and comfortable. We needed more water in our room. We were so thirsty - it was hot and we ran out and we weren't sure how to get more. We figured it out the next morning, but we wanted more water in our room!

The breakfast was very good, as was the patio to enjoy breakfast. The staff was very attentative and friendly. Instructions to get to our room was simple and complete

Great location for exploring the city — easy to reach from the train station. The breakfast was wonderful, as everyone says. Very nice remodeling of an older building. Excellent value. The property was fine, but sometimes communication with staff was lacking. We requested a particular room, but it wasn’t the one we had when we arrived. And there was no response to WhatsApp messages about some broken items. Not big problems, but it wasn’t as good as our other stays in Italy.

Elegant bed and breakfast with modern, beautiful bathroom, nice decor, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast spread was delightful and the hostess and chef were very warm and welcoming. Nothing to dislike!

Fantastic, tasty breakfast with good menu variety. Appreciated the quiet room as requested. Decor in the room was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was easy walk to train station and very close to central area. Most importantly it was very central to all the UNESCO world heritage sites we came to see. Staff were happy, cooperative, helpful, super friendly, showed initiative and made us feel very welcome. Almost nothing. Couldn't figure out how to use the room heater, but ended up not needing it, and I'm sure the staff would have helped if really needed.

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Gugu. The staff was warm and welcoming. The interior was both charming and elegant. Breakfast was great! The only negative was that we couldn’t stay longer. We hope to return someday soon! Nothing.

Breakfast service was good quality with wide range of options. Very walkable to sights of Ravenna but removed from busy /noisy centre. Nothing

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Gugù. The location was perfect (a short walk from the train station) and very close to everything. Breakfast was wonderful as was my room. The property is very well managed - I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Ravenna. Nothing

The shower seal strip tended to come loose, so the bathroom floor sometimes got a little wet and the door didn’t close completely. Breakfast was very good, everything tasted fresh and delicious. A few savoury extras like tomatoes or avocado would have been nice, though with the number of guests it’s understandable that offering more could also lead to more waste.

It was fabulous!!!!! with no elevator and I was on a walker, the entire staff went unusualluy out of tj\heir way to make us comfortable. Time gave up his beautfil library suite so Connie and I could have more space, and he had the smaller room next door. Very nice of him. The entire staff was just wonderful and courteous, and the breakfast was very delicious. We will def, recommenda your beautiful place to others. Thanks for your hospitality! Nothing. except an elec]vator, but we handled the situation.
