Located in the quiet village of Reith im Alpbachtal, this 4-star hotel offers an indoor pool, a spa area, and a fitness room. Reith Cable Car is only 1476 feet away and is part of the Skijuwel Alpachtal Wildschönau Ski Area. The Kirchenwirt’s spa area features a sauna, a steam bath and a spacious relaxation area. Massages and various beauty treatments are offered as well. A flat-screen cable TV, a mini-bar and a work desk are offered in each of the traditionally furnished rooms. Bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer are also provided. Guests of Hotel Kirchenwirt can enjoy international and local cuisine in the traditional restaurant or on the terrace in nice weather, and a cocktail bar is also available. The all inclusive arrangement which is offered in selected periods includes breakfast, dinner, an afternoon snack, alcohol-free beverages as well as beer and wine. Various activities such as guided hikes, Nordic walking lessons, and air-rifle shooting are offered. Dance evenings take place 3 times a week. The Kirchenwirt features a heated ski storage room and sells ski passes on site. Free private parking is offered on site. During summer, guests can swim in the Reither Lake which is only 656 feet away. The cable car also operates in summer, taking guests to scenic hiking trails.

Great location - perfectly connected with the ski slopes, quiet place to get rest, professional, kind and quick staff, perfectly clean, amazing and diversified breakfast and dinner buffet, always fresh and tasty food, family friendly place. Water in the swimming pool was cold.

Attention to detail was fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bar was super cosy. The spa area exceeded our expectations. The maisonette room worked brilliantly for 2 adults & 2 children. The hotel is just 10mins from the main ski lift lift (via free bus only 150 meters from the hotel). It would have been even nicer if the dinners were served every night (some nights were buffet style).

1/ the spa area was very pleasant and the facilities overall very good 2/ the staff incredibly helpful 3/ breakfast buffet was also delicious 1/ The blankets were too small. They did not cover us properly and we did not sleep very well the first night. The second night was better after the staff changed the blankets for wider ones at our request. 2/The bathroom door in the room was made out of glass which did not give a lot of privacy

Easy to find, but many buildings are "Kirchenwirt". Secure bike and ski storage. Fantastic sauna/pool/wellness center in the keller. The restaurant is open to only hotel customers on Wednesdays. Had to wait until 18:30 for dinner and 7:30 for breakfast to be served. Sauna also closes at 19:30, so going for relax time after dinner is tight.

The breakfast buffet was well-stocked with plenty of fresh options. Staff were very good in replenishing the buffet. The spa was clean, extensive and well thought-out. You can easily spend a few hours there without getting bored. The traditional bar / fireplace / reception area where you could also take afternoon tea. The only (minor) complaint was an undercooked crême brûlée. Having said that, I've eaten in plenty of top-class restaurants where they have not got the crême brûlée right! But I loved the fact that they didn't shy away from some more difficult food choices with their set menu. They could have played it safe (and boring), but they didn't!
