We stayed here 2 nights, with a group of nine people (2 families) traveling together. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were unique and charming, great location, and the breakfast was very good. Overall, I would highly recommend! There were a few little things that needed to be cleaned up / fixed, but nothing that distracted from the quality of our stay.

We stayed in January. So it was off,off season. It’s a beautiful hotel very central in Old Town. Close to a modern shopping area, ferry port, and taxi stand. Breakfast was nice. The staff were very nice even when it was just us staying in the hotel. Would love to stay here again maybe in March or April to see the courtyard in full bloom.

We stayed in the Anatoli Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. A real highlight was our private terrace with a couple of sun loungers — perfect for relaxing in privacy. The bed was very comfortable, the linens spotless, and the bathroom (fitted with multi-jet shower features) was clean and well-equipped with towels and toiletries. Thenia, who greeted us upon arrival, was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful — always with a genuine smile. Throughout our stay, she and another lovely staff member (whose name I regret not getting) were both attentive and welcoming, adding a personal touch that made our stay all the more special. Breakfast was another highlight — served in a beautiful stone patio surrounded by greenery, accompanied by the gentle sounds of a water fountain and birdsong. A peaceful and refreshing way to start the day. Avalon Boutique Hotel is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The attention to detail and the kindness of the staff made our stay memorable. We’ll definitely return at the first opportunity. A heartfelt thank you to Thenia and the whole team for such a lovely experience.

The hotel has a great location, making it easy to access nearby attractions, and the ambience is charming and well-designed. It’s a pleasant place to stay if you’re looking for a good loacation witin the old city center. However, the hosts could be more attentive and welcoming. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel very comfortable or appreciated as guests. Additionally, be prepared for a significant number of mosquitoes—bringing insect repellent is highly recommended. Overall, while the setting is appealing, a few adjustments could make the experience much better.

What a gem, staff were friendly, we stayed in the Villa was exactly what we needed. its located in old town which was perfect right near all the sites and great restaurants in walking distance We only had breakfast one day , but it was nice. Clean rooms , nice courtyard to sit in. Taxi driver called them advising we were coming from the airport and staff member met us on the outside of old town with a golf buggy and transported us and our luggage to our room Door handle broken was fixed immediately Very dark bathrooms not enough lighting , we put the lamps in there. Couldn’t get the lights so turn on in kitchen, but we ate out anyways

This is an pleasant boutique hotel with nicely equipped rooms, decent breakfasts, helpful staff, a great ambience in the shady courtyard and a brilliant location in the old town close to the Grand Palace. Very quiet. The overall hotel is in need to some maintenance. It looks like it was thoroughly revamped several years ago but hasn't been maintained since. Basic stuff like light switches not working (couldn't turn bathroom light off), doors difficult to close and lock, cupboard doors hanging, external woodwork varnish blistered and in need of some attention, some external wooden fixtures decayed to expose screws and plant pots full of water which is a breeding ground for mosquito. Its a real shame but the overall experience is undermined for the want of a bit of routine upkeep.

We stayed at a standard double room but we weren’t aware that this was in a separate building nearby. Very disappointed. The entry to that building had a musty, unpleasant smell and although they were coffee/tea facilities didn’t have either.

Really nice hotel in the old city just near the knights palace. Very comfortable room and a shady, relaxing courtyard perfect for a drink on a hot afternoon. All staff went out of their way to be helpful . Excellent breakfast and great recommendations from them for best restaurants nearby. Highly recommended. Nothing
