Cactus Hotel Adults Only 21 plus

The pool was rather small and shallow. The deepest spot was 120cm. Hardly possible to swim. The bathroom was tight. Little bathtub, no space to even open the door. We had to get a taxi to the ferry. We asked the receptionist to call a taxi for us. He said it will arrive in 2 min. Turns out the taxi canceled and he called another one 5min later. That one also canceled. The receptionist called 2 more taxis and by that time already 25min have passed when he said it's a high traffic now and everyone is busy. We had no option to get to the ferry by car or bus, and had to run 3km with our luggage. We barely made it on time. I believe we should have been informed by the reception that taxi at the time might not be possible, as I think it was not only our bad luck that just that one Monday afternoon they were all busy and it probably happens most afternoons and we had no clue. We were just informed the taxi will come soon and it never happened. We have been informed after booking that we have to switch the room after first day and we accepted it, though it was a bit of an inconvenience.

location was super,room was clean ,updated ,comfortable ,breakfast buffet was delicious and good. there was no mosquito screen at the balcony door

Great location!

I really liked location and sea view room. Room was quite comfortable, housekeeping staff did very well, even delivered presents for Easter to the rooms which was bread and eggs, a traditional Easter attribute. Pool and sunbeds very good, there is even a library, where you can find books in different languages. a good stay in general. there was a water leak in my room and i had to wipe floors for two days until they fixed it. Front desk staff not very helpful. And when i asked for second blanket, they said they don't have one. What kind of hotel doesn't have blankets? When I was in shower they cut off hot water, so had to finish in cold water, which is why i got sick during my stay. also, very thin walls, if your neighbors are loud - you will not sleep.

The buffet had good selection of food each day. Also as we were there during orthodox easter they gifted easter buns and painted eggs to all o their guests, which was really nice. Service was great as well. The room equipped with fridge and kettle which is nice. The bed was comfortable It was truly windy and no sun in the balcony. So much so, we could not sit outside for long even with warmest outdoor clothes in the evenings. Additionally, there was no working heating inside so it was cold inside as well. No blankets. The room seemed run down, window not clean, bathroom was outdated and overall worst part of the room. Also, with no heating it was very cold there as well. There are only few outlets in the whole room and to have kettle working you have to disconnect the TV. Electricity outlet is also only on one side of the bed.

The staff were so helpful and great with my disabled son made him feel so welcome. Nothing

On the positive side, the location was good, breakfast was okay, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly The room and shower were very old. The shower was very small and had a curtain instead of glass, which made it difficult to use. The air conditioning didn’t work the first night; they tried to fix it, but even on the lowest setting it made a loud noise.

The place, the staff,swiming pool area & mini market, very comfortable bed & pillows. A lot of impact noises from upper floor, poor guest room door causing noise from corridor.

Location, staff, breakfast Clean the floor of the room every day. The fridge was making loud sound during night, didn't allow to sleep, we unplugged it. Please don't on the scale for suitcases.

Location and closer to sea Nothing in particular

The breakfast was okay but could be improved, as it was the same every day and became repetitive. The bathroom lacked proper ventilation or conditioning, which caused a humid smell after some time.

The view was amazing. We supply all needs from the hotel’s supermarket. The breakfast are so good. Because of the location, it is so easy access to the beach and the city centre. Room cleaning was not enough. There are no slippers in the room.

The location of the hotel, the kindness and professionalism of the staff, especially the General Manager and the Front Desk Manager, good quality breakfast, the incredible views... Rooms are of different sizes, hence comfort may vary. This may affect particularly tall people, like me, who enjoy a lot of space. This is related the the hotel structure, of course, but maybe it should somehow be made visible when booking.

The room was very old. The fridge was rosty. The bath and the furnitures were old and dirty. They definitely need renovation in the rooms.

The placement of hotel is why we chose it, close to everything we wanted in a short relaxing stay including bars, restaurants and activities The standard rooms are a little dated but for the time you spend in the room it was comfortable.

Room was outdated, requested a double bed and was given two singles.

The best location on the island. The rooms on the first four floors are from when the hotel opened circa 1980 and haven’t been renovated since. Don’t be fooled by the photos. If you’re in the deluxe rooms on the top two floors, especially with a sea view, the hotel is fantastic. Otherwise the rooms are old. The bathrooms barely work. One of our rooms smelled of sewer gas. The breakfasts were pretty good.

The location and beach were ideal, and the room was maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. The accommodation's condition was not up to standard, with outdated furnishings and a generally worn appearance. The bathroom facilities were also quite compact. The breakfast selection, while palatable, lacked variety. Beach towel exchange was limited to once every three days. Furthermore, the elevators were undersized, accommodating only a limited number of occupants. Considering the room quality and overall hotel amenities, the pricing structure appears to be excessive.

The pool is nice The bar has a good selection Great location The room is old, definitely not a 4 star hotel. Also it's more for the older folks which I didn't expect, I wouldn't recommend it for young people
