Hotel Fênix (Adult Only)

Breakfast was really good make sure you call on time; they bring it to your room and actually you have a small dinning table, those rooms are like junior suites, the property is a little bid old, but it is well maintained. Maybe a better description of what is around, this is the first time I do not stay in Copacabana or Ipanema, but it was not bad at all. I would like better natural ventilation with windows you can open and get some breeze from the street, but really no complains.

It's near the most of the tourist attractions. A bit old and stale.

The room was super spacious and clean. Also, the breakfast was great! Served directly door to door & you can have it earlier if you have early itinerary. The staff were very nice and helpful. Muito bom, obrigado! No bidet, the elevator and refrigerator was old. Not that soundproof walls, i could hear the other room’s voices when Im in the dining area.

The beds aren’t so comfortable, the staff are nice but it’s hard to communicate with them because of language barriers

Good price for that period. Close to the carnaval Location is a little bit unsafe. Rooms dont have AC and it gets very hot during the night. I asked to use a toilet after checking out and i was told there is none i can use in entire hotel. Staff is not very friendly and the breakfast is brought to your room. The staff never knocks at your door, they just try to enter, so please lock your door

Pretty decent value for money, spacey and clean room, decent beds and nice staff. Clearly a place where people bring “guests”, which we could also hear at times during the night. Otherwise pretty great

Exceptional

Excellent hotel. No curfew. Good location for those comfortable with central Rio. Some nice restaurants around. Daily room service, breakfast and free wifi. Nice sized room with plenty of closet space. Was able to pay extra and check out in the evening. Don't be put off by the old adult hotel name it's just a nice hotel with mirrored ceilings. Due to old sauna the room did get warm so AC needs to be always on.
