Great breakfast and location Floors were pretty dirty and very dirty under the beds. Parking is available however you have to pay R$200 reais to park there which is not mentioned at first when you book, read the small lines!

Very quiet and prívate. The room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. The location is perfect, two and a half blocks from the beach and restaurants. There are some high end coffee shops very nearby, as well as ATMs and food stores.

Arrived for check in & was held waiting for 45mins! On entering the room was greeted by a stained bed cover. The sheets were too small for the size of the bed with hair on them when I pulled back the cover & there was no mattress protector on the bed. In other words the sheets had not been changed - GROSS!!!! The room

After having stayed and checked quite some hotels in Copacabana (since 2006) with some good and bad experiences, for me it was time now to return to Ipanema instead. The Astoria Ipanema hotel confirmed this was a good decision. The reception service, the room, shower, bedding ..... all was good. Very nice location, safe and close to the beach / boulevard. The hotel has towels, chairs and parasol available for use on the beach. Operation of the 2 elevators had not interconnection and thus no logic; long waiting times. Especially when one of the elevators broke down last week. I was lucky having my room on one of the lower floors. Also the treadmill in the gym did not work.

The elevators were a little slow sometimes. Also the breakfast is hectic. They should extend hours up to 12 pm.

Amazing location two blocks from the beach, in the safe part of Rio. The rooms were nice, modern, with good working AC. Front desk staff spoke English, amazing rooftop bar (photo I added is of view). Seriously this is a great spot. No complaints at all!

My electricity was malfunctioning a bit but no other complaints. I was staying during pre-carnival so the price was a bit high compared to value but that’s life

the ELEVATOR was a pain. It took 5 minutes at least to move 2-3 floors.
