The hostel has events for everyday of the week. On Sunday I signed up for the free dinner which was a nice way to meet people from the hostel and try a Brazilian dish. The bathrooms were cleaned frequently and there are different bathrooms around the hostel if one is occupied. The vibe of the hotel was chill and was a good place to be social. If I ever come back to Rio I would definitely stay here again. Everything was fine, nothing to complain about.

Location was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom I booked didn't match the bedroom I was provided. The photos didn't match. The room I booked was listed as including 1 twin bed and 1 full bed. I was given a room with four bunk beds and in addition charged extra for early check in. There also mentioned a minibar and daily housekeeping, both of which were not included. It has been a while since I stayed at a hostel, so I also forgot that no shower toiletries would be included. The room was too cold and only sheets were provided for the beds, which were not enough to keep us warm.

Everything. The staffs

El staff!

Near to the beach and everyone nice and ready to help. The simple rooms need something to hold when you are going to the top bunk.

Bathrooms needed some cleaning

Hostel is in a very nice location, 2 min walking to beach and very close to the supermarkets, nice cafes & bars in Ipanema. The staff is helpful. Facilities are easy to use. Hostel is quite disorganized, there are rules but they are not applied or controlled. The order of the room depends on how tidy the people in the room choose to be that day. The room door did not close properly and kept making a sound when someone entered or left. There were cockroaches in the kitchen.

Property was very well maintained, cost and the room was very comfortable. Nicole, Eva and Milena were amazing staff and made my stay fun, informative and adventurous! Thank you for the great experience None

The hostel has a cozy layout with a nice seating area where it’s easy to meet people. One night they offered snacks and drinks, and the bar served really good cocktails. My private room had a comfortable bed, and the shower and bathroom were totally fine. I met a great friend during my stay, and the guests in general were friendly. The vibe was chill, which was exactly what I needed. They also organized some evening events. The staff didn’t feel very welcoming when I arrived, which made the first impression a bit disappointing. My private room was right in the middle of the common area next to the hammocks, so it didn’t feel very relaxing. I tried to change rooms but the hostel was full. The room smelled humid and damp due to the heavy rain that week, which wasn’t pleasant.

The location? A short stroll to the beach & resto, shops etc Friendly & helpful staff The shutters didnt open and it was quite dark in the room There was a constant awful smell, toilet, mold & damp.small room, no hangers! It rained a lot & they had put some towels near the stairs & in common spaces but were unchanged for days & stayed wet & dirty. The fridge in my room made ice & froze my drinks & fruits Leaking fridge Microwave, glasses & utensils r not very clean. It has a hostel vibe and people dont really care. The reception & the main building look clean & pleasant. The connectting part where my room was had no maintenance.

Location is good but is not worth the respiratory infections you get for sleeping in such a terrible, humid room. Incredibly humid room, the best is wet, all my clothes in the suitcase got wet overnight and got a weird humid-mold smell by the second day. Air-con was not working. WiFi is not working in the rooms, just by reception. Walls and ceiling were damaged and looks like they were going to fall down.

The internet in my dorm did not work

Very good location, 2 minutes away from the beach Breakfast options very limited, noise from people speaking loudly near our private room late at night

location is great, rooms are great, space is large. good vibes

Location and staff, green seating areas Dark rooms, a bit smelly/damp when you arrive. Not enough space for luggage. People can look into you room when they pass by.

Safe central hostel with friendly staff. Regular organised day + night events and bar on sight with excellent caipirinhas ? Pretty quiet at night so possible to get some sleep. Only bad thing is dorm rooms are really small considering everyone has large backpacks/suitcases.

Good location. Good WiFi. Ok breakfast, but very small portions. A place to hang your wet clothes after coming back from the beach. The rooms are too small for 3 bunk beds. Therefor very little space for guests to organize their belongings etc, not even space for a table/counter to fold your clothes. Cleaning of bathrooms is ok, but of the rooms is subpar. Collection of garbage underneath the beds, and there were no bins in the rooms either. The staff were in general good. Yet it can not be unmentioned the behavior of Julio, one of the receptionists. I have never come across such a diva behavior (passive aggressive, spiteful stares, rolling with eyes). Reminds me of Andy Dick from American TV. As a receptionist he is a face for the establishment. He wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes in any of my facilities with his diva behavior.
