Comfort Inn & Suites West - Medical Center

As visitors at Mayo we were unsure where to stay. This hotel is clean, staff is nice, beds are so comfortable, pillows are standard size, bathrooms are good size. Rates are good. It is a 15 minute drive to the Gonda Building. You have room to move and breathe in this room. Parking is convenient and air conditioning works well.

The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The property overall is not well maintained. The pool is out of service and ice machines and vending machines are missing or inoperable. The landscaping is full of weeds. I don’t know what the breakfast substance was but it was not eggs.

Rooms are basic and somewhat old. Breakfast not great. Pool and spa were closed. Room seemed clean

Large comfortable room in a great location near Costco. I would definitely stay there again.

Easy to find. Very clean. Worst part was curtains did not close so light shine in all night from the parking lot

I got locked out my room, I don't know how many times, because of the broken locks on the door. It was just ridiculous having to go to the lobby several times a day to get back into my room.

If you are travelling with young children or infants this may not be the right place for you.

My stay was comfortable and my room was clean. That may seem non-exciting, but for me at the end of a long day filled with travel and tests at the Mayo Clinic, what I wanted was to find a good place to eat and have a good clean room to rest and get ready for the next day. This hotel and the surrounding area gave me what I needed. Thank you

Great place! Beds were super comfy, had all the amenities we needed, quiet. Only disappointment was the pool being down. But that was beyond anyone’s control and at least they made arrangements for guests to use the hotel next door’s pool.

The room that we were given initially was not clean so the front desk had to move us. The hallways of the hotel were disgusting like they hadn’t been vacuumed in years. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.

They have a shuttle to Mayo

Overall the stay was fine. Pool not working, breakfast was not good.

Nice location and pretty quite I needed a wheelchair as I just had an operation I am pretty tall the wheelchair has no foot rests it was probably harder to sit in it than it would of been to walk
