Quality Inn near Medical Center

First off the staff was great l, no complaints there. The hotel when we arrived smelled musty. The room we stayed in had black mold in the shower, by the toilet, and on the ceiling in the restroom. The room smelled musty as well. If you're looking for a cheap hotel and dont mind mentioned above have at it. I wasn't expecting the Hilton but I wasn't expecting to see black mold either.

Breakfast was excellent

I was preparing for check out at 9 am & as I brought items to my car the cleaning staff went into my room and began cleaning before I had taken all of my items out of the room. They had several of my belongings on their cleaning cart that I had to ask to retrieve. I called and let the front desk know that I was missing items from my room the same day I checked out and I have not heard any reply.

We were in room 108. On arrival I noted dirt and grime in all the corners, especially in the bathroom. The bathroom walls were swollen with water damage. It smelled like mold and urine. There was a large spider in the bathtub, and worse, unbelievably, there was feces left in the toilet. The TV didn't work, but all we wanted was to get some sleep before an early morning appointment. This was unfortunately impossible due to what sounded like kids racing luggage carts up and down the hallway all night (and a rock-hard mattress with a lumpy topper that kept coming off, and throw pillows instead of normal pillows, and an insanely loud rattling AC). At 3:30 AM we gave up and dressed to leave, which was when we discovered that both of us were covered in bug bites. Bug bites! Yes, I have pictures; no, we hadn't been anywhere else where this could've happened. This hotel has bedbugs, or fleas, or probably both. We went to the desk to check out around 4. The guy was sound asleep. Pros: they called us an Uber. Cons: literally everything else. There is no chance that any positive reviews for this place are genuine. Please heed my warning, especially if you're a Mayo patient. It's not close to Mayo anyway. I attempted to reach out to the hotel for a refund and got no response. Low Quality Inn. No stars.

Very spacious room the shower was awesome. Breakfast was pretty good. TV was great.Bed was comfortable and you could even walk outside room on the second floor. Definitely worth the price.

Badly need to retrofit with ADA compliant comfort height toilets

The property looks really nice from the outside and our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, there was some mold in the top of the shower. The reception area smells very very moldy/musty. The day that we arrived, there was a nasty rotten trash, smell closer to the elevators, which didn’t exist when we departed. Shame on me I forgot my pillow in the room and realized within two hours after our departure I called them. They were very helpful on the phone and said they would return my call. I haven’t received a call back yet. It is 4:30 PM. I called them at five after 1 PM. My friend stopped up there to try to pick the pillow up and they could not locate it which was really strange that a pillow can go missing within two hours of departure when the only person that I’ve been in the room was the cleaner I would say. Bummer because it was a hotel Lux down feather pillow with an allergen cover on it and another really good pillowcase over that. I’m not sure how something could just go missing within two hours. I just tried calling back right at 4:30 PM before writing this review and no one would answer the phone and the line cut me off.

Carpet beetle bugs in the shower made my girlfriend scream and cry. More bugs in the sink. Crumbs up the lobby stairs and other visible messes were not cleaned for 2-3 days. Everything was disgusting. Room smelled like someone sprayed a bunch of cheap mens cologne, and it stunk even though we tried to air it out by opening the window. Speaking of opening the window, the screen was broke, looked very ghetto, couldn’t keep the window open due to bugs. Nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Smoking area right by the front door. Many things needed fixing in the room including light fixture, shower. Bed was comfortable but no blanket on bed or spare blanket in room.

Breakfast was a disaster. The coffee machine was broken and the egg machine was out of order. Very disappointing when we wanted breakfast.

Hot tub broken made a horrible sound when jet turned on as you are about to lay back to relax Your greeted with black mold on the caulking. The bed was hard and stiff with dirty sheets. Mini fridge was not clean had orange juice still in it from the former guest.

The rooms are nasty. There was literally blood on one of the pillows. Nothing is cleaned Well, there’s dust everywhere. It’s gross. The staff is really nice though.

Was told when we checked in that there were only 4 rooms left. When we went down for breakfast around 7:30 the Folgers Coffee Machine had a sign OUT OF ORDER, so coffee was in a Airpot. The hot self serve for eggs and sausage had a sign OUT OF ORDER. To make waffles the batter came out of the dispenser very slow and the syrup dispenser was also very slow. Bakery on container no bagel, no English muffins, only a slice of bread.

Nothing, i ended up not staying because my room has bed bugs
