Check in was easy and the staff member at the office gave me some great ideas for local attractions to check out during my stay. He was very friendly and helpful. I ended up eating dinner at Thai Pop, which was delicious, and visiting Art Heads Emporium. The room itself was a bit outdated (carpet, light fixtures, etc) but I appreciated the bed was comfortable, water was warm, the mini fridge worked, and the room was overall clean. For a budget motel, this was a good experience. Crossing the threshold of the room, I smelled smoke but inside the room was smoke residue free.

Though dated and small the room was clean. The Wi-Fi was fine but the TV was inoperable. I called the front desk and the handyman and the owner came in immediately and eventually remedied the problem and I had no further problems with the TV during my stay I had a room at the end by the street, Broadway. I don't have very good hearing but it seemed really loud to me during normal hours and it wasn't until probably after midnight that I didn't notice noise is

The manager was very friendly and helpful and my car wouldn’t start the next morning he volunteered to give me a jump without hesitation very nice I wish you’d been at least a little coffee pot in there, but there was a Perkins almost directly across the street so it was all good
