Super 8 by Wyndham Rochester Mayo Clinic Area

My room smelled horribly of cigarettes. The employees smoke right by the entrances, several visitors smoke right by the entrances so trying to enter the building was difficult without walking through smoke. The smell of cigarettes in my room was horrible. I could not breathe I had to check out. If you're a Mayo Clinic Patient & already have trouble breathing or cigarett smoke is a trigger for your symptoms save yourself the hassle and just spend the extra money for a nicer place cigarette smoke is not irreversible. It made me sick. & The back door did not work so I kept having to walk all the way around the building. The experience was not patient friendly. The bathroom tub had grime. I will never come back

Nice free breakfast in AM. Clean rooms and clean areas throughout the area. Wish the breakfast would start a little earlier than 7am on the weekends. Wi-fi seemed little erratic.

It was a convenient stop on my trip.

Room 205 was most definitely neglected during cleaning. There was chunky stains all over the walls, what looked to be pop dripped all over the wall as well as stains surrounding the entire room. The side door to the building barely worked and I as a woman by herself got locked out. This happened multiple times including my room lock as well. I have stayed multiple times at this location and never had an expierance like this. I was very disappointed as my dog had emergency surgery last week and this was supposed to be a little 2 day self care vacation for myself which came to a quick and early end. I have been waiting to be contacted by the management and still have yet to hear from anyone.

staff friendly and helpful room was not what we had expected no washcloths and someone's dental floss was on the sink. key cards were hard to get to work and the rear entrance one never worked for us

The room is very nice and clean

Food in floor near bed. Bathroom vent hanger two screws. Shear vent curtains ripped. Parking lot had potholes and was uneven. Fridge unpluged.

The sofa was ripped and the shower tiles were broken. No elevator. Coffee was out by 9:45 am although I was told coffee will be available throughout the day. The room was open when we checked in.

When I arrived to my room, it was about 90° in there, and I went to turn the AC unit on and the light was on to change filter.As the plastic cover was broke, I removed the filter and cleaned it.Reinstalled it. I let the lady at the front desk know about it.And I told her I took kleenex and folded it up in wedged it in the cover to hold it in place

Breakfast was basic but good. The area was clean. Location was bright and roomy. Staff was very helpful and polite. When we came in the front door there were people smoking right at the double door. There did not appear to have any smoking area for them away from the entrance. Bad start for Anyone with compromised lungs . #201 fire alarm blinking green light flashed into the mirror all night giving out 4th of July vibes all night. No amount of covering it with towels helped.
