Extended Stay America Suites Washington DC Rockville

I booked a room with two queen beds and a pullout couch, but the pullout couch had no sheets and could not be used. When I went to the front desk, I was told they had no extra sheets. After I pushed the issue, they eventually started laundry and gave me a fitted sheet, flat sheet, one blanket, and a pillowcase, but no pillow or proper bedding. The kitchenette had no dishes, pans, or utensils in the room. Apparently those items have to be requested separately, which made the kitchen basically useless for our stay. The “breakfast” was just a small countertop with coffee and packaged muffins/snacks, not a real breakfast. There was also no Wi-Fi available during our stay. The staff member we dealt with seemed like a nice person, but the hotel was clearly understaffed and the problems could not really be fixed. Overall, this was not clean, comfortable, or what was advertised. I would not recommend this property.

The property is run down, shady people living long term, floor sticky, room smelly. No toiletries, no kitchen utensils, no hair dryer....would have left but there were no other hotels available and needed to stay in the area. There is no breakfast provided, just some granola bars and bad coffee. Would NOT recommend.

This hotel was full of homeless inhabitants. The continental breakfast was non existent. Coffee pots empty dogs hanging around the food. People rolling dope in the parking lot. The room was musty and stunk of detergent like they sterilized it before we got there. Hard to communicate with the broken English employees. Definitely research hotel owners before you book a room.

The landscape was beautiful. The rooms were also nice only things the beds a little to firm and high and because I have disabilities in my hips made it hard to get in. Also because of them not checking my reservation good I was only given one room which meant my son had to travel back and forth to the to spend time with me, my daughter and my younger son who live in the area where we stayed. Also check out time was at eleven but they shut our cards off half hour early

The room was suited for the 5 of us in our family. However, the hotel itself was not as clean as to be expected. The hallways and entryway smelled stale and of pot. The hallways were dirty with debris that doesn't seem to get vacuumed. I saw a used bandaid on the floor, garbage and fake hair in the hallway floors. The room itself could have smelled clean. It didnt. There was dirt and debris in all the corners and stuff that had to be brushed off the beds. Found 2 bugs a huge ant and a stink bug. There was no bedding for the pullout couch. We had to ask for it. There also was never anyone at the front desk to call you had to walk down because no one answers the phone. I only saw one staff member at a time to take care of the whole property. When we checked in we had to wait 20 minutes get someone to help us because he was helping another customer. There should be more than one person working the desk and a whole hotel. And breakfast included was baskets of oatmeal with hot water cups and coffee and prepackaged muffins not great. Coffee was decent enough but overall felt very low quality and would not stay again.

Exterior of the hotel looks much better than the interior. Dirty, smells like cigarette smoke everywhere, room was clean but the kitchen didn't have anything and the stove appeared to be very old and broken. Guests smoking cigarettes right outside of the door every time we entered/exited. Definitely don't recommend.
