Upon arriving to check into our room, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and they did not have a room for us. We made our reservation weeks in advance, so we were confused. The girl at the front desk handed us a sheet of paper and told us that we would be able to get a room next-door at the Ramada Inn at no additional charge. We already had all of our bags with us and had to load up the car again and drive next-door. Upon arriving at the Ramada Inn, we were given a key to a room. When we entered the room, we immediately smelled marijuana and cigarette smoke. We went back downstairs and requested a new room. We were given a new set of keys to a new room. We also asked about our free breakfast that we were supposed to receive at the sleep in and told that we could walk next-door in the morning to receive that.

Property needs an update. Had an actual life guard, which is nice, but no towels left for use. Reasonable price for the area and met our needs.

It was a last minute trip and just a one night stay but to start off once we walked into to the lobby there was a smell that was not pleasant. Checkin process was quick and easy . Room keys were not available was told system was down. The front desk staff had to walk each quest to their rooms to open door ,every time ! Room phone wasn’t working . Rooms need updating, fresh paint and new rugs . No microwave in room.Website says shuttle service which is a lie. They did have hot breakfast available , we chose to leave early and eat outside.

Nothing was good about the stay except for the price..i guess thats why its cheaper. One wrag for 4 people, small beds, dirty walls, half used shampoo, bad water pressure, breakfast although free not good at all. You get what you pay cheaper for.

Room was very clean and nice. The staff were very nice and helpful, as well. We just did not feel great with no deadbolt on our door or functional room key, we had to have the master key open our room.

Very limited towels and pillows. Sheets are old and dirty

I would first like to say the 2 stars has nothing to do with the staff because I actually think those two young women who worked the front desk did the best they could and were wonderful given the circumstances. They deserve a raise after dealing with a motel that had no working keys. Every single time a guest had to go into their room they’d have to let you in with a master key. So yes you’d stand there waiting if there are people before you to go into their room. My next gripe is we had 2 rooms, 6 guests. Each room had 2 towels and 1 washcloth. When I asked for more I was told they didn’t have any until the next day. Whattttt kind of place has NO room keys or enough towels, wash cloths for their guests. I do not recommend and I felt bad for the poor girls who had to deal with this on a busy weekend. Shame on Sleep Inn, those girls were constantly running the 2 days I was there. Lastly the breakfast was terrible.

Hotel was overbooked and they did not honor our reservation. They did book us at the Ramada next door, which was average at best.

We did not end up staying for our stay. The rooms were so stinky and just had an ick about them. We ended up cancelling our stay and finding a new hotel.
-
Rat traps in some rooms. Also when I checked in end of May 2026 they had no room key cards and the staff had to manually open your door not knowing if that’s really your room or not. Very unsafe

When we arrived we discovered that their key card system did not work. We had to get someone from the front desk to let us in. Often times there was no one at the front desk and we had a wait. Also the water did not get hot, it only got lukewarm. We complained and they sent a maintenance man who checked it and said they lower the temperature during summer months. This was May and cold and rainy. Will not stay here again.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at the Sleep Inn in Rockville. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet reasonable expectations for comfort or customer service. During my stay, the room key cards repeatedly did not work, causing unnecessary inconvenience and difficulty accessing my room. On multiple occasions, I had to search for someone from the front desk because staff were often not available at the desk when assistance was needed. Additionally, I experienced significant difficulty contacting the front desk by phone. I had to call approximately 12 times before receiving an answer, which was very frustrating when I needed assistance. Due to these issues and the lack of proper accommodations and responsiveness, I am requesting consideration for compensation, whether in the form of a refund, discount, reward points, or another appropriate resolution for the inconvenience I experienced. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding this matter and hope we can resolve this fairly. Sincerely, Bradford Woodridge

Everything was excellent. Was disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed until Memorial day.
-
Terrible smell of tobacco in the hallways and the room; no key for the door; the receptionist opened the door during my stay; the pillow and mattress were uncomfortable and old; bathroom issues.

It was gross. There were leaks and the paint was bubbling up all around the property. My room looked clean but under the nightstand you could see nobody cleaned or was in the details. There were ants in my room, the tv was from 2005.
