The staff is amazing, super nice, accommodating and welcoming. Upon arrival we were welcomed like old friends, given information of our reservation promptly, of the location, and suggestion on places to see and that everywhere is roughly a 20 minutes walk. They took good care of us! The room was very nice and had all the standard amenities. Size of room is typical European standards and had a private bathroom with a nice shower. Overall very comfortable stay and quiet when windows are closed. AC were turned off so the fan and heat was only functioning. We were told it was turned off since its winter. We understood so had to open the windows instead which cooled the rooms rapidly too.

I liked the location, is nearby everything, very good restaurants and amenities nearby.

Although it is a [ theoretical] great idea to have an area close to the rooms with coffee machines [a nespresso] and a water boiler for tea - to be used between 8 and 22 [10pm], other hotel guests used it starting with 6am and up until midnight. The nespresso was very loud, and so was the water boiling. Have a sign that reminds guests of the permitted hrs and/or have someone remove the machines after hrs. The reception is only open 8am to 4pm. Some guests were very loud, but we could not inform the reception. The rooms were quiet, but the doors are not well soundproofed - guests who have conversations in the hall [we were on the first floor] can be heard. Have a sign reminding guests not to talk in the hallway.

Good storage, comfortable bed. Shower was small. Room needed some fixing. Would like a light in the keypad and have the lights stay on after you pull it out for a minute or so like other hotels.

    Excellent location

Great location, can walk to the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Lovely boutique hotel. Comfortable beds. Large bathroom and a great shower. Excellent restaurants and shopping are very close. Right across the street from an Opera house and 10 minutes from Rome Termini. I can honestly say there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. My husband and I stayed here 15 years ago and loved it then too. I would say I thought it was a little expensive for the 4 nights stay and having to pay a tax in cash when we arrived was an additional expense. There were other places that were e affordable but I wanted to stay there for nostalgia.

Nothing at all, the website doesn’t compare to what this hotel looks like! Doesn’t have a lobby, the office s closes early, the main entrance doors of the hotel are locked by certain time, the elevator ess so antique that didn’t always work, OMG it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed, we were a group of 10 and we were all dissapointed. We didn’t like anything at all. Nothing at all, the website doesn’t compare to what this hotel looks like! I’m a handicap person and the room was not Design for that! Very very dissapointed. You coukdnt even go to the little terrace outside because it was blocked/closed fue to some type of desinfectation, they offered to purchase a breakfast ticket which the breakfast was awful!

I booked this hotel because of the really good reviews I read. Pictures were great as well. It makes you wonder who can write a nice review for this hotel? It was extremely disappointing to enter and see a horrible facility in every way, from the front desk with limited hours, to the rooms. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL OR YOU WILL REGRET IT BIG TIME.

Air conditioning not that strong/good. Bathroom looks good but shower function is just okay. Doors thin (we had loud neighbors) and blow dryer didn't work.

Property was easy to find and close to the train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful with sites to see and best ways to get around....and cautioned about local protest areas to stay away from. Beds were comfortable. Metro station was a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants close by and a small grocery market a block away. Refrigerator was very small and did not keep drinks cold.

Overall, this was a fine place to stay. Breakfast option was not worth the 10 Euro pp.

Easy to get in and out. Elevator helps with luggage, which is rare in Italy. The free coffee and tea bar is appreciated. Daniele was exceptional. Very friendly and helped us with suggestions for restaurants. Location is close to a metro/bus stop. Easy to get around. The room is small. The shower is really tiny, even for a petite person like me. The 3rd bed is an afterthought cause there’s no outlet next to it.

The location is convenient and you can walk to majority of the main places in 20 minutes or so. Check in and out was a breeze. Front desk was nice! I like that it was always a bustling vibe since it’s located right across from the opera house. We dont mind noise but if you’re someone who does this may not be for you. We stayed for two nights and the faucet barely worked the first night. Then it completely stopped working and only a few droplets of water came out. So we had to brush our teeth with the shower head. Also by the second night our shower was actually starting to not drain well. By the time we checked out the second morning, the bathroom smelled like sewer. The room is also tinier than expected, it doesn’t have a closet and doesn’t supply with tissue box. Also don’t open the windows unless you want mosquitoes to come in. My husband left with 6 mosquito bites. To summarize our stay was NOT at all comfortable.

the location turned out to be great for us. It was a short walk from the train station, in a safe area directly across from the opera house. We loved that it was very close to Monti and the Roman Forum. We walked everywhere- nothing was more than a 20-25 minute walk for us. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. it was small but had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. the room was fine, perhaps a bit musty but we opened the window for fresh air. It was a bit noisy outside our room with people using the coffee machine in the morning, but we didn't mind.

The location was perfect and the staff very helpful and polite. It could be a bit cleaner( especially in the bathroom I found hair from previous guests). The pillows could be better for a better sleep.

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

Daniel, who runs the property is so friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is just off the busy centre but close enough to walk to all the tourist sites. The room was very comfortable. The bed was a little hard and could do with some more comfy pillows but at the end of a long day of walking and sightseeing, sleeping was not really a problem.
