Aracoeli

Aracoeli is in a great location. The metro, bus is close so everything can be reached easily. 30 mins to the Colosseo. The room is clean. The staff cleaned and tidied it every day. Important to note that airconditioning is an extra 5 euro/day if you wqnt to use it.

The bus stop and metro was close by. The mattress was really good. There was a table and chairs to sit and a normal fridge (not a mini bar). The space was good. The 4-night stay was problematic as far as the heat in the room was concerned. I asked the host (Simo) to show us how to use the heat, it was easy, from 0-5 like a fridge. I like my room to be in a normal 20-21 temperature for sleep. I had the heater turned on at No.3 , because Simo told us that it's a central heating for the building, and the hours are fixed. The problem was that every evening at my return, the room was cold because Simo turned down the heat, every day, without asking. The final night when we came back to the bnb, all windows were wide open and the house was very cold like 10-12 degrees Celsius! The office window was wide open, the kitchen window was wide open, and the window of our room was open. We called Simo and he admitted that he left them open. We had a very difficult time to sleep. I suggest the host might think to change the rule of closing down the heat every noon without asking the opinion of the guests who after all, paid for this. I was very disappointed with that.

Superb

Hotel was very clean, and the rooms were cleaned every day. The location was nice, not too close to the center, but with convenient access to public transport. You also have access to the kitchen, where you can make a cup of coffee or tea. Breakfast was included, but it was just biscuits and croissants.

Distance to city center and train station

Well located near of Metro Station Colli Albani (line A). Easy to go to center of Rome Also with small storages to buy food and cook at the Aracoeli Nothing to say. Manuel was super with us. Explaining the rules and provide good information regarding the area.

Very cleaned, confortable, confortable bed and room. Very nice host. Very close to the metro and 10min from termini station or bus from different parts of the city. Good and calm neighbourhood. Highly recommend More diversity in breakfast

It was clean and the staff was kind. Bed was not comfortable, ugly furniture, broken fridge.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were some snacks and coffee for the breakfast. The place is 5 min walk from the metro station but there is little uphil walk from the metro station to the place. People with heavy luggage may find it bit hectic. The room were ok. They usually charge extra 5 euro perday for A/C during summer. It was close to a busy road and quite noisy even at late night. We put the return key in the designated locker but the property mistakenly send us a bill for key replacement which was werid.

Exceptional

Location was good (and seemed safe) with plenty of grocery shops, restaurants and caffee shops around. Place was quite silent and thankfully seemed clean. Room was dark, everything very dated. Breakfast with packaged food so better take a chance to have coffee in some near bakery - in Rome its opened really early by the way :) Shower was broken, bed loud and not comfy. TV old and small. This is place where you just for sleep not spending time to relax and enjoy.

It was clean It was bed and breakfast but just for the first morning the breakfast was ready but the second morning there was nothing available to eat ? The air conditioner doesn't work it had just a fan
