i stayed here before 2 years ago and i loved the central and easy location, cute decor, friendly staff and room was lovely and big for what we paid at the time. This stay was completely different and shows how different all the rooms here are to your entire experience - i went with several friends in a number of different rooms and this time i had a different smaller room which was awful; it was dark with zero natural light, there was one tiny window/door which overlooked the central internal terrace, however the room was so small it had a chair in front of it and you couldnt even get to the shutter to open it without reorganising the chair in the middle of the room to get to it. There was no where at all to hang clothes as a woman just 1 tiny low hanging rail directly above a kettle which meant anything hanging on that was longer than a very short top were literally touching the kettle underneath so the rail served no purpose. i had to live out my suitcase which was its own problem as the room was so small there was literally nowhere to store the case without tripping over them constantly. there was no suitcase stand, no drawers. it was horrible to get ready in tripping over each other with no natural light to do your hair or makeup and stumbling over cases which had to love on the only floor space available. One day i came back to my expensive teeth aligners that were sat on the small table next to the bed knocked open onto the floor and scattered under the bed on the very dirty and dusty floor assuming this was done by the cleaner as they left knocking the small table in the tiny space. This in itself was very frustrating as it meant i couldnt wear my night aligners the whole stay as they were so dirty and i hadnt traveled with a deep cleaning device. needless to stay the 2 other couples in our group stayed in the same class of ever so slightly nicer room and all the rooms were not amazing like i had experienced in the premium room a few years before = although ours was by far the worst as they had atleast got windows, balconies, hanging space, natural light and ALOT more space in their rooms to move around

Staff we fantastic. Could not do enough to help and had fantastic local knowledge that they were happy to share. Air con was not very good when working and also broke so we had one VERY hot night. Staff moved us the next day and gave us a complimentary breakfast but it was not ideal when we were only staying three nights.

+ Good location, 10-20min short walk to main sites, little bit further to cross the river for Vatican etc. + Decent size rooms (stayed in double) + Staff extremely friendly & helpful, hotel has offers on nearby bars/restaurants and also provides walking tours - Our a/c stopped working, not ideal in August, however we were moved to another room upstairs at Hotel Galatea, with more modern room. Staff, specifically Siena, was great throughout trying to find a resolution.

Room was very spacious for Rome, staff were helpful and friendly via WhatsApp communication. Great location. Everything was good.

Location, near the sites and train station.

I didn’t have breakfast but they cleaned the rooms each day very well. The location was amazing too. And staff were super nice. Nothing I didn’t like but I wish we got more complimentary water. Especially as it was so hot in Rome.

Proximity to Colloseum and friendly staff. Being part of the BZAR group, it gave options for free activities and restaurant discounts Bathroom facilities could improve. Shower does not drain very well, and toilet took several button presses to flush.
