Absolutely gorgeous hotel located in the center of everything. Very nicely appointed rooms and beautiful public areas. Breakfast was fantastic with amazing fresh pastries and a substantial buffet to suit everyone’s needs.

Great location. Staff welcoming
-
Terrific location next door to the Italian lower Parliament so needless to say, a very safe area! Location is perfect allowing for short walks to historic sights, monuments, shopping and wonderful restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. For our 3 night stay in Rome, the Hotel Nazionale was just right.

Location, room, facilities, breakfast

Breakfast was excellent. A variety of foods as well as gluten free foods was presented. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were so happy to have made this hotel ou choice. Pillows were rather flat. Everything else was lovely.
-
Perfection location to walk to many major sight seeing places in Rome. Bustling area with tons of coffee shops, shopping, and restaurants. Great staff- beyond friendly and welcoming to our large family and children.
-
I enjoyed how central the location was, the decor, it was very well maintained even though it’s been there for a long time. The staff was very kind and helpful, our room was cleaned daily I did not anticipate how small the room would be, which is understandable since it’s an older building. It made it nearly impossible for two people to unpack for the time we were there, so we had to live out of our luggage.

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of so many points of interest, food, shopping, and everything else Rome has to offer! All of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! Chara at the front desk provided outstanding service after our flight was cancelled, helping with everything from contacting the airline, getting a room for another night in an extremely full hotel and lining up transportation to the airport the next day!
-
The staff was helpful and friendly, especially Roberta. She explained where to visit and marked up a tear-off map they keep at the reception desk. Rooms were comfortable and spacious with nice amenities. The bar was great, with couches and nice drink service. And wonderful breakfast! My only complaint was the comfort of the beds.. I like a plush bed and my bed was quite firm so I woke up with some hip pain.

The proximity to all major sites It would be nice if it has a roof top bar or a larger outdoor space.

Friendly and efficient service
-
Comfortable room and bed, good breakfast, near Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, as well as Piazza Navona. Location is not near mass transit, so taxis are required for many trips, such as the Vatican or Borghese.

Great li action. Staff was very friendly and helpful
-
The location was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to so many places! The piazza by the hotel was not loud at all, as it was right by the Italian Parliament and there were police around. Lovely bar and staff! The breakfast was ok, nothing to boast about, but enough to hold us over until lunch. I guess that breakfast is not Italian's main meal after all.
-
We have stayed there many times before. This is our preferred hotel when we stay in Rome.

The lift was a little slow in peak times

Staff went above and beyond. Everyone It was next to Parliament building and we had 2 nights of Palestinian protesting with drums chants and ehitlez for 4 hours each snd police had yo blockade exit toward Travis fountain route and when we returned from different direction we had to show our room keys to enter the hotel are
