Location was excellent, and the staff gave us a complimentary upgrade The elevators are tiny and the street is exclusive to taxis and ubers without ability to drive your own car, one of the reception employees didn't know what tax free is and had a bit of an attitude, but in all cases the stay was excellent and the hotel had a beautiful story

Beautiful boutique property in a great location. Wonderful and accommodating staff.

The hotel is in an elegant older building, very beautifully decorated. It was very clean.

Location is perfect, right in the middle of the historical centre of Rome. We could reach almost everything we wanted to see by walk. Room was simply fabulous, breakfast very nice and teh staff super kind. Nothing so say, we will be nack for sure later

Wonderful hotel, and very lovely stuff

Quality, comfort, peaceful, quiet, service, breakfast, location. We could hear a loud noises, maybe furniture being moved around, from the room above us at 1am.

I didn’t like the inconvenience of car accessibility.

Absolutely spectacular hotel. The historical ceiling fresco are truly gorgeous and the furnishings and decor perfectly accentuate the building’s architectural beauty.

Absolutely beautiful rooms. Great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly top to bottom. Walkable to Trevi and Spanish Steps. Busy area with good selection of shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. Room and shower also excellent. Modern but touches throughout of the history of the building. Elevator small but since airline lost our luggage it wasn’t an issue. Regardless, the steps are easily manageable.

I had been debating between this apartment and one other one in another location. In the end, we chose this because the location was excellent. A very short walk to Pantheon and another direction, Trevi. Lots of great restaurants nearby. A gelato shop (Giolitti) a few steps away from the apartment. If the weather was not too hot, you can actually walk your way to Castel Sant'Angelo. Staff was generally helpful - they even helped us get a cab when we went exploring and had switched our rooms promptly when we had issues with our first one. Breakfast is part of the package - it consisted of bread, jam, yogurt, muesli, pastries, juice and coffee. Eggs and crispy bacon (I recommend this) are an extra charge. Rene was extra helpful with our orders. The highlight of the room we booked must be the Jacuzzi-designed sauna room inside the big hotel room. This is just another level of decadence. There were two rainfall showers and the another option that spouts water like a waterfall. There is a quirky thing though to be aware of - the showers (at least in the room where we finally settled) did not have a door and we had a hilarious time figuring out how the shower worked. But there was minimal splash and the water did not leak down the floor so it was all right. But if you have the air con in full blast - you might want to shut it down while you shower. About the sauna - our family loved this. The presidential suite with SPA is pricey so if you want to indulge, give it a shot. We had to switch rooms because the first one, although fully renovated, was just too small for our group. The second room located one floor up was huge, lots of space and light, but partially renovated. The toilets was still in the classic style and the entire space is carpeted and had the older furniture, unlike the renovated smaller room which had wooden floors and more modern furniture and a smart TV. The first room they gave us was much smaller than I expected from the pictures - the size did not match up to my exception of a presidential suite but was beautiful and newly renovated and the bathroom shower leaked out on the floorboard. I spoke to the front desk and they switched us to a bigger room the next day. The second room we stayed in was really big and the bathroom shower / sauna was excellent. But there was a musty smell in the carpets. The aircon was also tricky because it is controlled centrally so it was cool then suddenly shut down when you raise the temp by one degree - speak to them about the ideal temp you like because they will work it out from their end so you avoid any issues during your stay. Some of the furnishings / equipment are older - like an older chiller, older TV model (not Smart TV), lacked an extra plug for charging devices on the bedside (either you use the lamp or you charge your device) Since the sauna and the shower was a bit of a novelty in design, it might help to have some written instructions on how use. Elevator was small - but I think this is the norm with many older buildings. Just be aware rooms may vary in features, appearance and size - try to clarify your expectations with the booking staff to avoid issues.

A beautiful and luxurious experience in a fun and bustling part of Rome. The entrance is not obvious, it’s rather hidden because you have to ring in at one of this ominous doors, but I enjoyed it because it is part of the private, luxury, and safe experience. The room was great with a comfortable bed and unique decor and architecture. The staff was great and I enjoyed the addition of a bar on site. It was my second time in Rome for this particular trip and I definitely preferred the location of this hotel. It was right by the famous sites and the best restaurants, as well as some cute and unique shopping experiences that I enjoyed. Overall the area was so lively.

Very nice experience and I hope to be there again. The location is fantastic and it's not too easy to find the taxi when you want to go out of the center.

The room is nicely decorated and the bed is comfortable and the hotel is in a good location. The shower cabin leaked in the flood, the sauna did not heat well, the sewage in the bathroom smelled. The cleaning ladies saw the shower leaking and smelling every day, but no one did anything or asked us if something was bothering us. Our room (presidential suite) was located next to the room for washing and drying towels and linens and it was noisy until late at night. We complained about it, but we were told there was nothing they could do about it. We were also disappointed with the breakfast where you have to be satisfied with what is provided, and where omelettes, eggs, pancakes, hot chocolate, cocoa are charged extra. One morning we did not have cheese or ham. You have to pay extra for anything they do not bring to the table themselves. For such a price of accommodation (presidential suite), this is unacceptable.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Martius Private Suites in Rome! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and other iconic landmarks, making it ideal for exploring on foot. The room amenities exceeded expectations—beautifully decorated with a blend of classic elegance and modern comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the suite was equipped with everything needed for a luxurious stay, including a well-stocked minibar, high-quality toiletries, and excellent climate control. Cleanliness was top-notch—the room and bathroom were spotless, and housekeeping maintained the highest standards throughout my stay. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with recommendations or requests. Overall, a perfect boutique hotel experience in Rome. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and convenience! The only thing my wife missed was a full-size mirror in the room, which would have been a great addition to an otherwise perfect setup.
