Quality Hotel Nova Domus

We booked a room with one double bed and 2 single beds for 3 adults and 1 child. First, they would not let our child check in. Then they refused to give us the room that we booked, only offered a room with one single bed and one double bed.

What I liked: The location was goo and incredibly convenient. It was within easy walking distance of several restaurants, local markets, and major city attractions, which made exploring Rome very enjoyable. What I didn't like: While the location was a highlight, I felt the room amenities could have been updated to better reflect the hotel's star rating. Summary of my stay: A convenient base for sightseeing, perfect for those who prioritize location and accessibility to local attractions. The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, which meant there was no breakfast service on-site. While the staff provided vouchers for nearby cafes, the process was inconvenient for my family and me.

The photos didn't quite match the actual rooms. We thought we were getting a larger room separated from the double bed and 2 single beds

Very very old, calling for a total renovation however they re already starting to renovate some of tge floors.

Breakfast was so good Not changing the sheets Not cleaning the shower Carpet too dirty and old

Only location This place was a sauna. The air conditioning barely worked — it felt like it was blowing slightly warm air the entire time. I called the front desk, and They offered a fan… Couldn’t sleep, couldn’t relax, and definitely couldn’t enjoy the room. I spent more time sweating than resting. For the price I paid, I expected at least basic comfort — not a heat trap. Would not stay here again unless they seriously upgrade their maintenance and customer service. Absolutely Disgusting — Bedbugs! Stay Away! I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was too awful not to share. I checked into the hotel late at night after a long day of travel, only to wake up a few hours later covered in bedbug bites. I pulled back the sheets and, to my horror, found actual bugs crawling on the mattress seams. Totally unacceptable. I immediately went to the front desk, and the staff seemed unfazed — like this wasn’t the first time. They offered to "change rooms," but at that point, the damage was done. No apology, no refund, no concern for guest safety or hygiene. Avoid this place like the plague unless you want to take home itchy souvenirs and a ruined trip. I will send a Bedbugs pictures.

Nothing much to like. From the staff to the location and the unwillingness and bad attitude of the staff made is challenging

There is no shuttle service. You must correct this . I feel you owe me a credit because i picked the hotel because of the shuttle. Im filing a complaint. THANK YOU . Front desk man is Not friendly.

The front desk staff was the BEST! Could have been cooler.

However, I did encounter an issue with the WiFi connection. It wasn’t working properly in some parts of the hotel, especially on the 5th floor. This made it a bit difficult to stay connected during my stay.

Advertised air conditioning and we received a room with no air and 98 degrees out. Plenty of other rooms available and staff rude and unwilling to accommodate.Toilet plugged for the whole night DUMP!! This is no way a 3 or 4 star.

The communication of the staff.

The bathroom walls and the bedroom carpet were dirty. The toilet seat was broken.

Hard matress that are 2x double bed to make it queen size. Squeaky and noisy bed frame.

Rooms were old ...in need of renovation Breakfast area to small

no kettle or phone inside the room and the sound isolation is almost zero where one can easily hear the sounds inside yhe next room

Rooms are outdated old. U can tell maintenace wasnt done much. Beds are spring and coils are poking through. Top mattress is stacked on top of bottom boxspring which is bigger. Shower drain is old and drains slowly. Central heat unit didn't work.

Breakfast was very decent. Good variety with some fresh options. Was not fancy, but got the job done. Staff was constantly clearing tables and replenishing items. Coffee machine worked well. 25 min walk to Vatican. Lots of restaurants within 1KM. The bed was awful. Likely should have been replaced 5 years ago. Room carpet was filthy and air con wasn't working. Luckily, windows could open for some air flow. Toilet was positioned so that anyone tall had a difficult time using it. There was a wall section if the shower. Had to pee sideways or our knees would be cramped. Hotel was far from public transport that would get you to main sightseeing destinations. I booked this by mistake. It def wasn't as bad as other reviews that I read prior to staying say.

The security system still depends on keys. The furniture and beds looked quite dated.

No wi-fi. No shuttle service as advertised had to pay 70 euro. Lobby looked good and then youn get to room and was very disappoiinted
