Aldebaran Bed and Breakfast

It's not in the center of the city but totally walkable to everything and it's on a quiet side street. The breakfast. I don't mind that it's self-service but wish that the bread were fresh and fruit and milk and maybe even vegetables would be offered. It was very processed, packaged breads and bread goods with hard boiled eggs.

I really appreciate cleanliness, but it is very strange to require a guest to use hand sanitizer and take off their shoes when entering the building. I wasn't bothered by this, but I think a lot of other guests might find this excessive. For guests who just want to be alone and value privacy, maybe this is not the best option. The shower also seemed very dated and there was a lot of random stuff in the bathroom left from other guests.

Laura was very very friendly, kind and generous, offering us Italian coffee every morning :). Grazie mille Laura!!! Nothing negative!

The host, Laura, is very nice and pays attention to details. You can tell that by the common area, but also inside the room. I really appreciated the cleanliness and the fact that there were lots of toiletries available. The animals were lovely too, we were actually welcomed first by Milu. ❤️ The location is also great, around 20 mins walk to Colosseum and the street and the area are very beautiful. Also, really grateful for the fact that our luggage were kept there until evening, when we had our flight. Not necessarily I didn't like, but maybe I would've wanted to know beforehand: room is being cleaned each day. I was not expecting that from a b&b, which I count as a + actually. :) Another thing, but not a deal-breaker, it was a bit cold for us. We stayed in March and had some rainy days, we asked for heating and the host turned it on, so in the evening was ok, but during the night and in the morning was a bit cold. Probably how the heating system was scheduled. Overall, great experience.

A tranquil haven in the heart of Rome, and Laura was a wonderful host. Felt very welcomed at Aldebaran.

The location is pretty good because of the metro station like 7-8 minutes by walk. The host Laura was extremely helpful and professional providing useful tips along with the city map. And she also helped me with printing my air ticket by asking her friend to do it for me! Molto gentile). The level of cleanliness. Laura also gives the opportunity for early check-in like starting from 10 a.m. and that was very important for me. Well, it was cold in the house in the second part of November. Sorry but I have to say that the heating the city provided in limited hours was not enough. And although this is not the hostess fault but in the end it does not matter.

Very attractive room with large bathroom in a very convenient location for sightseeing but in a quiet residential street. Laura was very helpful with sightseeing tips and made us very good coffee.

We liked the location. We were about a 25 minute walk to the Coliseum and about the same from the train station. The room was pretty quiet at night with the windows shut. There was no TV in our room. Not that we had a lot of time to watch TV but always good to put on while getting ready. The breakfast was quite limited. No fruit, cereal or yoghurt. Just bread and croissants.

Laura is very nice Wi-Fi was really slow and sometimes non existent. Needed to book some excursions and travel arrangements

Laura was a gracious host and gave us a map and explained the surroundings. Our room was very clean with a large bathroom. The Air Conditioner worked very well and we had breakfast each morning! The Red Metro Station is about a 10 minute walk which was great to get to the center of Rome. I would not recommend walking to the Roma Train Station. There are no sidewalks and would be easier to take a taxi. The neighborhood was very nice and there are great restaurants just a short walk. We were also able to walk to the Colosseum which was about 20 minutes. We loved our stay with Laura.

Laura was an amazing guest ! Everything was clean , perfect. The room was gorgeous, the shared spaces were comfortable and pretty, too. The free breakfast was a lovely surprise! Laura was very helpful with everything and was very kind and warm. Thank you so much ! The place is near the train station and there are lovely restaurants around the B&B. Nothing :)

one of the best places I've been! excellent location of the house, close to transport and attractions. the room was magnificent - a bedroom, a huge bathroom and its own dressing room. the house is perfectly clean, exquisite interior. I want to express my deep gratitude to the owner of the house Laura - she is a very sensitive and wonderful host who takes care of you at every stage and sincerely tries to help in everything. it is really important to her that her guests are comfortable. I was also very pleased with the breakfast, when booking I did not know that it was included in the price. the breakfast was good, it will be enough for you until lunch. in general, this is a decent place!
