Hotel Lancelot

The hotel was reasonable in price and comfortable. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful, especially with the taxi and recommending places to eat? Liked that they had a bar so we could relax and have a glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast had good choices and relaxing before hitting the road in the morning. Also liked that it was within walking distance of the Colesium! Would ask for an inside room due to trash pick-up in the early morning, but at least it wasn't every day. Would have liked to have a shower mat, it was a little slippery.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The location was incredible! Only 3 blocks from the Colosseum but very little traffic on the street. Easy walking to center of Rome or Colosseum Metro stop and sooo many nearby cafes and restaurants. The bathroom was on the small side but clean and updated. Part of the charm of an older building!

Este hotel foi uma agradável surpresa na nossa viagem. Um hotel bem decorado, com certo refinamento nas áreas comuns, com móveis antigos de qualidade. Funcionários atenciosos. Com um ótimo café da manhã, mas tem somente 8 mesas de 6 lugares, então é comum dividir a mesa com outros hóspedes, o que não foi nenhum problema. A localização é bem segura, numa das ruazinhas perto do Coliseu. Reserve com bastante antecedência, pois é muito concorrido, um hotel com possibilidade de cancelamento e sem pre-pagamento, com bom preço, considerando os valores exorbitantes de Roma. Excelente!! Poderia ter um frigobar no quarto, mas sei que não é algo muito comum na Europa. Sem problemas.

We love the amazing location near the Colosseum is hard to beat! But, the staff, Francesca, Chiara, Lubna and Mark, plus the breakfast staff, and bar tenders are all absolutely first rate! They are knowledgeable, they share recommendations, directions, suggestions for whatever you are interested in. They will also arrange transport to and from the cruise terminal and/or airport. 5 star service is what you will receive! The rooms are lovely and appointed with beautiful furnishings. The common spaces are lovely as well, beautiful furniture, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We didn't want to leave Rome and the Lancelot is the place we will seek for our next Roman holiday! Offering scrambled eggs for breakfast would be nice.

The dinner was an event and amazing. The rooms were decent and the staff is amazing. They also have a little bar for evening drinks. I will definitely stay there again.

The location was excellent. The staff was fabulous. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with lots of options. We wish breakfast would have started a little earlier. There were a few days we weren't able to have breakfast at the hotel because we had to leave early for site seeing.

Breakfast was very good! Liked room size and decor. Great location and bearbybrestaurant Shower head would not stay attached and pumps to shower gel and shampoo weren’t working. Would prefer an updated blowdryer. Terrace on 6th floor was dissapointing

Location was great. Staff at the front desk and bar were terrific. The only complaint I have is although the room was cleaned nicely they didn’t replace what you used. The paper cups were never replaced. Towels were only sometimes replaced.

Heating was not strong enough for the big room.

Small , friendly staff . Close to colosseum, lots of restaurants near by Bathroom was small and needed upgrade.

It might’ve been nice to have a heads up regarding a large party that was at the hotel. We had to leave and come back for breakfast later in the morning.

The hotel is a true gem. The location: central but quiet. Beautiful hotel with so many touches that make it truly designer and elegant, but also comfortable and thought through for travelers. Staff is brilliant and kind, helping in any possible way. Breakfast is perfect. For the first time (with traveling a lot!) I was taking photos of the interior as there were so many beautiful elements and art pieces.

Location,location, location. Breakfast. Stuff is very welcoming and helpful! Lounge area with the balcony to the canal. The beds are a bit too hard for me. In the bathroom there are no hooks to hang a towel.
