ELA GUEST HOUSE

Lovely guesthouse! You get your own cozy room with a private bathroom inside a spacious apartment, and there’s a fully equipped shared kitchen for cooking whenever you like. I really appreciated how close it was to the Coop and other local shops. I stayed for three nights, and my room was clean, roomy, and super comfortable. Ela was a fantastic host — friendly, helpful, and always easy to reach. She even provided breakfast vouchers for Bar Centrale nearby — their cappuccino and cornetto were absolutely delicious! While it’s a bit outside the main tourist area, getting around was easy. Just take the B metro line to Ponte Mammolo, hop on bus 451, and you’re there. Plus, with Rome’s daily transport cap, I spent less than €7 per day on metro and bus combined — very convenient! Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Ela’s. It was excellent value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. There's nothing to complain.

Ella gave wonderful communication and service. The coffee and pasty vouchers for the local were a bonus and introduced us to great food with fun people. We would stay again. You had to navigate the bus and metro into Roma but Ella gave instruction

I travelled with my parents and they loved the place for its exceptionak cleaningness, well working aircon (necessary during this summer heat), spacious room, nice bathrooms with all amenities, coffee machine, access to big fridge, and free breakfast. balcony view was also lovely and the neighbourhood has nice coffee shops and restaurants close by (200m away) opened from 6 am until late night. awesome ice cream, bakery and pasta places around ! only point to consider was the location, but of course it is reflected in the price. you will spend around 40 mins to get to colloseo or almost 1 hour to get to vatican. but there was a good side of its location: car away from all tourists - few nice local coffee shops and restaurants- super cheap and authentic.. so definitely I recommend this location if you are a budget traveller and do not want to stay around the crowds all the time - perfect balance.

Very kind lady who greeted us and place not too far from two metro stations. There is also nearby bus station with bus line to the metro station. We were pleasantly surprised with vouchers for breakfast in nearby bar. It was exceptionally clean and cute room.

We stayed over Easter weekend and on Easter Monday, an alternative breakfast option was offered as the normal cafe was closed. Unexpectedly kind. And we were surprised to find our bed made on Easter Sunday!

Lovely room with a view

Cozy apartment in a lovely residential area. A nice option if you want to stay in a quiet location off the tourist track. Although well linked, travelling to the city centre takes about one hour. This is not actually a con, yet something to keep in mind if you’re planning on visiting the central attractions.

The hostess, Emanuela was very kind and helpful. I got locked out of the building and she was kind enough to come and open the building doir for me. She also gave me an extra key since the main key was with my roommate. The room was very clean and comfortable. The toilet had a connected water hose, which was just wonderful. There was a safe inside the room but we didn't need to use it. The breakfast options were practical and lovely. I really enjoyed my stay. The accommodation is near Coop supermarket and very close to the bus station. The neighborhood is queit, safe and friendly. The only let down is the location. The guest house is a 2-min walk from the bus station. You can take the bus to the metro station or just keep riding the bus till you reach your destination. It usually takes around 45 mins to an hour to reach the city center. So, if you are visiting to visit Rome's famous attractions, you will spend some time in the commute. I personally didn't mind it as it allowed me to explore Rome streets more.

the breakfast was really nice. the host kept in touch with us and she was very quick with answering our texts. location. it took a bus and some walking from the bus station. but the stops were really hard to find. and the neighborhood was a little sketchy.
