Amazing location, a couple of minutes by foot from Vatican. Great host. Comfortable room, good bathroom, no problems with hot and cold water, good AC. Breakfast was not really good (fresh bread would be nice) but fresh fruit is good! The window opens and is below the waist, and in addition there is a puff below the window, just perfect for someone to fall out to the patio (and I am not joking, it is a very high floor). Please find a way to block the window completely, this is dangerous.

The elevator and building are as old as the most buildings in Rome. That would be the only minus comparing to a good hotels

Guest Art Rome was a wonderful find, the perfect base from which to explore the city. Emiliano and Gabriele are the kindest, most helpful, most accommodating of hosts. The apartment is in a real Roman neighborhood, where real Romans live, and yet a mere 10-15 minute walk to the old center. Plenty of neighborhood stores, cafes, restaurants, markets -- you will feel like you live there. The accommodation itself is wonderful (I had the room with the ensuite bathroom) with a broad view on the wide inside courtyard. It is high up (5th floor US / 4th European -- with an elevator) on a fairly quiet street, so not much noise or pollution. The place is stylishly hip and extremely functional, with a lovely, fully equipped small kitchen. Espresso coffee machine and fruit are available, and there is all you need to cook. the beds are extremely comfy. The wifi is strong. E. and G. keep their place spotless. It is truly a wonderful place, very reasonably priced, which is probably why it is so often full! There was truly nothing -- nothing! -- not to like about Guest Art Roma! The apartment is centrally located, stylish, comfortable, easy to find, and affordable, and the hosts are delightful! I will try to return whenever back in the Eternal City!
