First of all, I was disappointed with the cleanliness. Although the room was supposedly cleaned every day, in reality it was only tidied up. During our 5-day stay, I never saw any new amenities provided or the towels changed. The facilities were also quite poor. The hair dryer and air conditioning were very old. The coffee and refreshments were low quality The hotel is located in an old building, but it seems that nothing has been renovated or improved over the years. The owner was not particularly friendly or attentive either. The location of the hotel was only acceptable. Overall, the hotel did not meet any of our expectations.

There was no sugar for coffee for 3 days and nobody to ask for on the front desk the breakfast were the same breads over again the air conditioning never worked and the blow dryer either and not well cleaned

Great location, close to Vatican, the metro and grocery shops. The room was small, but cosy. Coffee machine and fresh pastry everyday with no extra cost. The room key was waiting for us at the reception when we arrived and the interaction with the host was lovely. Not for light sleepers - we could hear a phone vibrating in the next room, sound of toilet, coughing etc. The shower could use some upgrade - there was no hose attached to the shower head.

the location, close to metro but in calm area, the easy check-in, the great hosting with really friendly host and coffee and croissants every morning!! Bed was comfortable, windows kept the noise out and it was just the right temperature in the room! I would have wanted to be able to choose if I wanted my room cleaned and the bed made every day. I did not need that and I was surprised to come back to the bed being made and my things moved. For my 3 nights trip, I could have been fine without it :-)
