The towels smelled like mold. The wifi signal was weak, important as we were working remote. The rooms condition was a concern as moldings were falling off. The security was a concern as a spare key was kept in a access panel outside. Bathroom needed work

The biggest value in this hotel is staff. Before we arrived they called us to check when we will arrive and is there anything that we need for that moment. Also, we received all kind of information and/or suggestions i.e. where we should try the local food, where we can park etc., and during the stay we they were calling us to check is everything ok and do we require any services. Hotel itself was ok, there is a terrace where you can spend your evening with friends and bottle of wine if weather is good. I can’t complain.

This was an awful experience for me and my colleague (2 rooms, 6 nights). The rooms are horrendous and uncomfortable (last renovated in 1989 according to the owner). The carpets are nasty, the bedding old and uncomfortable, the bathrooms have scum and rust sediments leftover from decades of guests and poor/no maintenance, the toilet had its paint ripped off and the shower door was broken and half replaced with a molded curtain. The accommodation was really a shame. The nightclub downstairs (Flamingo) was a nightmare that prevented me and my colleague from sleeping every single night. Despite wearing earplugs, I could hear the loud music playing downstairs (and feel its vibrations through my bed) and the noise from people hanging out outside the nightclub until late at night. The hotel's front desk is unmanned and the owner shows up on request. He is a polite individual, but unfortunately his good manners do not make up for an awful experience that was quite expensive (100 euro per night per room in low season). I feel deceived as this felt more like a 1-star than a 3-star hotel. Would not recommend at all.

It is small and cozy, with a beautiful terrace. It is located in a less touristy area, where Romans live. Full of shops, restaurants and well linked to city centre. The lobby is small.

no sound insulation between the rooms. the hairdryer gets overheated and stops after a minute. no hangers for the towels, no cup for toothbrushes. no hot water in the evening. not enough clothes room for three people

Quiet location not far from Porta Pia, in the Trieste neighbourhood , a bit far from the city centre by walk, but nice place with lots of restaurants and cafe nearby. Nothing
