Hotel Paba

The hotel staff were kind, friendly, and provided great local recommendations for enjoying the Monti neighborhood. Housekeeping stole $300 from a purse hidden in our closet. Management provided zero updates after we reported it, deflecting responsibility by saying we should have used the safe. Additionally, there are major security risks: rooms use physical keys instead of digital keycards (so there is no log of staff entry), and the doors have no internal safety locks, meaning someone could enter while you are inside sleeping.

The room was exceedingly comfortable. The hotel is in an ideal area: just a few minutes' walk to the Forum. Lots of good restaurants nearby. I wanted to book a hotel with a balcony, and ours was wonderful. During one of the hottest weeks in August I appreciated that the air conditioning was able to maintain a comfortable temperature. The host, Francesco, was especially welcoming and helpful. He booked our taxi for the next (early) morning, which worked perfectly. There was some street noise, but not more than you'd expect for this location. The windows were well insulated, so the sound was minimal.

Good location. Temp control in the rooms worked well. Friendly staff who did well handling the language barrier. Reasonable pricing. 1. Electrical issues - multiple outlets emitted power off/on. 2. We arrived with a running toilet where maintenance had to repair immediately. Faulty wall mechanism that was an issue for three days. 3. No appropriate furniture to empty baggage contents or even a baggage rack to place baggage onto other then leaving them on the floor. They did have a small corner rack to hang articles of clothing. 4. TV remote had dead batteries. 5. Only one elevator and the size of a small closet. One couple at a time.

This place was amazing, staff was very helpful the kids really enjoyed their stay. one of the mini splits in the kids room was leaking. Not a big deal but other than that it was great to have the kids all in one room.

However, there was a common door for all the guests which was secure. Had to carry room keys, and safe keys around (no card key) Noisy-thin walls Very rude residents who live in the building ( yelled at for using “their elevator”)-this made the stay very unpleasant. This is not a regular hotel

Location Noise

It was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, cold fridge, convenient location, secure and safe, good value, coffee/ espresso maker with fridge to keep milk, close by food, Ubers picked us up at door, kind courteous staff, quiet rooms, shutters on outside to keep out light Elevator a little scary for those with fear of heights but worked well. But it comes with the old world charm.

Excellent location next to coloseum, friendly staff, excellent communication ahead of arrival. nice neighbourhood with good restaurants and bars. hotel is in the ZTL zone (traffic limited zone) which makes the approach by car a little challenging, but staff were very helpful in pointing this out and helping.

The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious and well appointed. Large bath towels, hot rain shower with handheld. Free coffee and tea. Very close to the coliseum and restaurants. Very very nice and comfortable! The staff had great communication and response time!
