It's an old building so you could hear people in the hallway, the elevator going up and down, as well as people outside in the courtyard but everything else was great for the price. The air conditioning was a ceiling fan and a desk fan next to the bed. We got by for 2 days and enjoyed our stay.

Exceptionally cramped room, no possibility to move around, especially in the space that went for a bathroom. Even worse, when taking a shower the entire space was flooded and you couldn't even use the toilet until hours later. Never had a worse hotel experience in any European big city, not even in Paris.

Very nice host. 15 min walk from Train station. Linens seemed clean. Received room with private bathroom in last minute request. Too expensive for such a dated establishment. Location wasn’t that great for such an up charge on room pricing. Carpet in the room was stained. Walls were very dirty and marked up. Old doors didn’t feel safe. Small room with no bed side tables for phones or other items. No space to open luggage without placing it in the old carpet. (we had two carry on bags and two back packs). No air conditioning. Very old. Didn’t feel fresh.

I highly recommend this place to stay at if you’re going for a vacation to rome. I stayed with my sister for 5 nights coming from canada, and i’ll summarize the main points. Location wise it was great and close to the main attractions; specifically trevi and spanish steps. Cleanliness it was amazing super clean and they gave new towels every day. The staff were also so kind and helpful, special thank you to the front desk man and even more to the lady who cleaned our room and brought down a shirt we had left after checking out, very kind of her! 10/10 recommend!!!

It's an old place, but honestly, for the price it's okay.

Friendly staff, good prices Shared toilet, place is very old

It could be doing with a refurb ..doors without paint . Skirting boards etc. Don't expect a palace . Would I go back....Yes ..more due to location and helpful owner / manager . than the room. If you don't like heights or stairs then it's not for you. I hated the escalator so I always took the stairs and it's a long climb.

Good location, friendly staff, daily room cleaning.

For the price and location, it is good for the value, for the facilities, there are still have the room to improve.
-
Location was excellent Was no toilet at the room we have to share
-
Also the staff very helpful and friendly.
-
Nice staff, gave me good recommendations for sightseeing and the location was very convenient

For Americans, this is more of hostel then a hotel. The no AC and bathroom is advertised as private, but they just mean you can lock it. It would make for a better stay during the cooler months

Nothing one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had in my life. What we saw in the photos was nothing like the reality. The room was far smaller, poorly lit, and not clean at all — but that wasn’t even the biggest problem. The man at the reception was absolutely unbearable. Aggressive, rude, and completely unprofessional. He raised his voice constantly, treated us with no respect, and showed zero basic manners. He terrified my wife and my little daughter. Imagine being on a family vacation and feeling unsafe just by speaking to the hotel staff. That’s exactly what happened. He refused to help with any requests after 8 PM and made it clear we were not welcome to ask for anything. Even the simplest things — like an extra towel — were met with hostility and shouting. What was supposed to be a relaxing holiday turned into a complete nightmare. We couldn’t sleep well. We couldn’t relax. My daughter cried one night because she was so scared of how he yelled. This experience ruined a part of our trip, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I strongly urge Booking.com to investigate this property. No guest deserves to be treated this way. We will never return. And we sincerely hope no other family has to go through what we went through.
