Fantastic location, right on the corner with via Cola di Rienzo, with tons of restaurants and shops, within a 5 min walk of the subway, on a bus line and an easy walk to both the Vatican and Piazza del Popolo. The property is private, on the first floor of a quiet and secure building, and does feel like home in Rome. Best thing is our host Sheryl who is so warm and caring--she tried and succeeded in accommodating us with a room with two twins and a bathtub--not too many places have this. She personally buys the breakfast pastries and makes you your morning coffee--there are cold cuts, cheese, eggs, cereal and yogurt options...quite a spread for a small establishment. The rooms are very calming and clean. You have access to a stocked kitchen, and to guidebooks and a computer. Actually, nothing was wrong! Rome had a transit strike the day we needed to get to the airport, and Sheryl recommended a shuttle bus that was way more convenient that taking public transportation and not much more expensive.

Host Sheryl was absolutely wonderful! She could have not been more welcoming and helpful! It was wonderful! Great location, clean and comfortable. We walked to the Vatican and local restaurants.

We left before breakfast was served but the host was nice when we checked in and said we could grab whatever we needed from the fridge in the kitchen.
