The staff was pretty much not there. I needed the receptionist, kept coming to the office and it was empty. Twice in four days I came to breakfast and there was no staff in the area either. And it is not exactly a buffet - you cannot make your own coffee for instance. So, i had to wait 10-15 minutes for a staff to appear. The absence of the staff. Hence the not so efficient service. The cleaner came when I was taking shower, and though they saw that I was in the room by the indicator on the electronic lock, they knocked continuously. I was forced to open the door wearing a towel! They asked if I want the room cleaned. I said “Ok, but later.” They just never returned.

The location is ok The room was very expensive and very small. There was no fresh air because the windows opened onto the spaces between the buildings, where people were cooking. The ceiling was made of wood, and one night, at around 3–4 in the morning, we heard furniture being moved or something similar. The breakfast was poor. We asked for some salad, and a staff member gave us some by opening a bag of salad that had obviously been bought from a supermarket. In the bathroom, part of the sink support had a mark that looked as if it had been burnt with an incense stick. For a hotel claiming to be 4-star, these things are not acceptable.

The room was charming and spacious. We were upgraded to the Vivaldi suite. Loved it! The manager was so sweet. He was so welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful.

Location and very clean. We hardly ran into other hotel guests. Our room had a shared door with another room so you can hear them, but they were quiet for the most part. The guests that seem to stay here are older, not young children so people seem to be more respectful and aware of the shared doors

Fabulous breakfast on the sunny terrace overlooking Piazza Barberini. Friendly and helpful staff. This was my second stay here, and I will be back!

The upstairs outdoor terrace was really nice at night to meet with our friends and see the square. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t get the room very cool and had trouble with the coffeemaker.
