Overall the stay was great, but the room was a bit smaller than we had anticipated.

Excellent location and good value. AC was absolutely refreshing. Personnel were friendly and very helpful. My room faced the alley where trash was emptied in the early mornings and one night there was late night music at a nearby restaurant. One morning and one night noise, otherwise a great value hotel!

We stayed at Sophie for our last day in Rome and I regretted not staying longer. The location is great and the place is clean. The staff is super nice specially Sebastian. He helped us to find good places to eat and was super helpful. He did an amazing job.

Location Staff friendly

The staff was amazing, especially Sebastian! He helped us with navigating the city, suggesting restaurants in the area, and was very accommodating. The property was clean and it has a cute terrace on the roof with great views. Nothing

We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—everything we wanted to see in Rome was within easy walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere, and the rooftop terrace is a great place to relax in the evening while enjoying the beautiful views over the city. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. A special thank you to Sebastian and Marco, who were both outstanding. They were incredibly friendly, genuinely caring, and always happy to help. They regularly checked in to see how our stay was going, gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, and made us feel truly welcome. This kind of personalized service is exactly what you hope for in a boutique hotel, and they delivered it perfectly. The hotel offers excellent value for money, and thanks to its amazing location and exceptional hospitality, we would happily stay here again. Nothing

Unconcerned staff

The staff was really helpful. Sebastian helped us get settled in, and have us a lot of great recommendations for lunch/dinner. And the evening guy (I didn't catch his name) was very helpful too (helped with extra keys and set us up for spending time on the terrace)

The location was great, and conveniently located near Roma Termini. Just a very short walk away. If you’re planning on using the trains, this is the hotel for you.
-
Room was exceptionally clean and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us.

We chose the hotel because of its central location to the train station. We started our time in Rome in Trastavere, in an air b&b that was old and felt old. Trastevere was fine but removed from a lot, and is covered in graffiti. It felt kind of depressing after a day, but we stayed 3 nights there. Staying in Sophia Terrace Hotel was a relief. It was so easy to find a bus to get wherever we wanted, and the area is clean and comfortable. The staff was great at communicating before we arrived and during the whole 2-night stay. We were able to drop off our luggage in the morning, go on our day trip, and come back and check in. On our last night we bought drinks at the front desk and took them up to the small seating area on the roof where the view was lovely. The room was teeny tiny. There was no place to open our luggage. It was pretty and clean - mostly: after our first day, there was broken glass scattered on the floor. We picked up the few pieces, then found more in the bathroom and more in another area of the room. We told the front desk and he said the cleaners would clean it tomorrow. Then he offered to come vacuum himself so we said okay. It was a little awkward but we felt better that there was less chance of stepping on broken glass. In the morning we noticed it was from the corner of the bathroom mirror. The hotel was a little hard to find - even our taxi driver drove past it and then went back and struggled to find where it was. That’s because it is on certain floors of a building where there’s another boutique hotel on the other floors. They split the rooftop too. There are chairs and tables to use in designated areas for guests of both hotels. Hopefully this helps you if you stay there. I would recommend it.

Everything was perfect. The staff were all incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. A special thanks to Sebastian, who helped us a lot with every question we had and gave us great tips for the city. The room was amazing, the shower was perfect, and the terrace was on another level. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and overall, it was a fantastic stay.

The a/c didn't properly work. They didn't give any alternatives or called someone to fix it. The aren't toiletries besides tiny soap.

the rooftop area was not similar to the photos.
