La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lancaster

Didn't mind them having pet friendly hotel but it was only supposed to be on the first floor I was on the second floor and they had animals next to me and my wife frightened of them!

Hotel was conveniently located close to major stores, activities. We just wish that there was a playground for kids.

The bed and linens were okay, only marginally. The floors were hard and very comfortable to walk on.

The hotel was very clean and the property was nicely maintained. The room was spotless and the pool was nice. The breakfast was also very good. Would definitely stay again!

We paid full price for are stay the pool was out of order the entire time, when we got there we had to pay additional 50.00 when no one told us anything.

This was the first time that I stayed at La Quinta hotels. First impression was it’s a nice place, however that didn’t last too long. After going into the room, I felt something wasn’t right, just didn’t feel right. I went to dinner, came back and once again felt that the room didn’t feel right to me after lying in bed for a while I got up to go to the bathroom and when I came back, my wife was standing in the hallway and I asked her if everything was all right, did she think it felt damp? She said yes we wanted the room to be nice so we hadn’t said anything to each other but once we did, we spent two hours taking the bed, bedsheet the comforter and anything else off the bed turned the heat on on the air conditioner, trying to dry it out. Even the floor felt weird when you walk on it barefoot you could feel it was damp (vinyl floor ) I finally just gave up got dressed went to the front clerk and told them what was going on she offered me another room to check out. It was the same way very damp even the mattresses were damp. How could you sleep on something like that? She offered me another room on the third floor. It was a little bit better not much, ( carpet flooring )I turned the the heat on trying to dry things out. I was up until 4 AM. When I finally woke up in a chair I told the wife I wasn’t staying here any longer pack everything up and we are leaving. The hotel would not even give me a partial refund. I will never stay at La Quinta again terrible hotels.

The pool was closed for all but 1 day of our stay. Very disappointing. My 7 year old granddaughter was sad and we were too. We were looking forward to coming back from sightseeing and going in the pool to unwind before bed.

Conveniently located, clean and quiet... what we needed for a quick stay. Would certainly book again.

I had requested a room close to the lobby-the reason being is that my partner can not walk long distances as he has a tendency to fall even with using a cane and walker-the staff was very friendly

Our stay was great. Our family of 5 plus a service dog had lots of space to spread out between 2 rooms with double beds. From the first moments upon arrival we felt right at home, as the staff was welcoming, caring and professional. Our rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good for this type of the hotel. Everybody loved the pancake machine! We especially loved the proximity of all the attractions of Lancaster, as well as short walking distance to Target, Dollar General and multiple restaurants. We will be back!

This was a beautiful property. The hotel was clean and neat and the breakfast was more than adequate. My only complaint was that the mattress in my room was probably the worst I’ve ever slept on. I don’t believe I got more than an hour and a half of sleep because of it.
