JetPark Hotel Rotorua

This hotel is advertised as 4-star yet we've stayed in better 3-star models. I struggle to understand how such a run down outdated place can be advertised so highly. We didn't feel the comfort we were expecting unfortunately.

Perfect location to all the amenities we wanted to visit. Nothing. All good

Breakfast was a "continental" buffet but with choice to pay for full breakfast if one wished. Very wide choice of juices, cereals, fruit, yogurt, spreads and pastries & lovely scones as well as toast and tea and coffee. The cafe also served evening meals. The a la carte menus had several choices and the two meals we had were delicious. The Fish and chips, green salad and Pizza were really good and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Front desk and housekeeping staff were also very helpful, welcoming and friendly. It made our stay in Rotorua a very pleasant and memorable time. Location is great for access and parking. A very minor thing - in driving round the hotel to the car park there is a low kerb on right hand side that needs a 2metre (plastic) pole to delineate the edge. From some cars' driver position this kerb cannot be seen and is potentially a hazard that risks scraping the wheel. (Not good for rental car damages!)

Ths room was nice and clean. There was a good coffee machine. The room was pretty cold, there was an ac unit but we needed to have it on at all times to have a decent temperature and it made some weird noises regularly. Breakfast was really poor, there wasn't anything cooked, just some pastries, fruit and cereal.

Very nice accommodations had a good little espresso machine which was cool. Staff were very nice and helpful. NA

The room was clean and pleasant, the bed comfortable. Good value for money overall. The Rotorua attractions were walking distance. The breakfast buffet at $21 didn't include any eggs - not boiled, not scrambled, nothing. It also only included filter coffee. Other coffee beverages like cappuccino have to be bought at the bar.

Friendly staff, clean and simple, great central location for Rotorua plans. Available breakfast had no good protein based low carb option. Walked to convenient fast food place for breakfast.

Good location, good breakfast options, close to restaurants Shower floor incredibly slippery when wet. It would have been nice to have a non slip mat .

The room could have used a microwave. The only thing that was lacking was the hot tub. The lid had been half open when we went out, so it was a bit cool and it definitely needed cleaned as there was debris in the bottom.

Parking spots too small and not enoughspots

Staff were friendly I was told I had to pay another couple of hundred dollars when I arrived despite paying the entire amount on booking.com when I booked. I had two kids with me and we had driven 5 hours so I had to do it They said it’s because I didn’t book directly with them there was a problem with my booking. I was in tears

The breakfast was really good and the staff on duty the two mornings of our stay were really great !!

Great location. Clean and large rooms. Nice amenities. Nice big rooms and very friendly staff. Issues with keys being reset multiple times and having to get new ones. Issues with getting into the hotel parking as buses blocked the way.

One has to pay extra to get eggs for breakfast, which we find very tacky...

Spacious rooms. Breakfast was pretty good but should have pancakes available every day. Kitchen could have been better equipped. Noise from pool/hot tub below the room was excessive two nights.
