Good shower, man on reception was polite Room was very hot, no air conditioning, no fan, very hot and humid, open windows did not help, had very bad sleep. Should not be charging full price when there is a heatwave outside. It was over 35 degrees the whole night. I couldnt even have sex with my wife

The bed was comfortable and I had a good view of the cathedral from my window. The location was lovely, I enjoyed the area and had a great walk about. The wifi was good enough for streaming, although I did experience some lags. The shower head wasn't fixed to the wall, meaning I either had to hold it or prop it on the pole in a very awkward position. The shower also had some visible mold on the metal panels. The room is very small and when I arrived it was over 30 degrees and the windows and door were closed so there was no ventilation. My room smelled like BO, fortunately it wasn't the bedding or towels, just the air. Opening the window for an hour certainly helped although the smell lingered in the bathroom. They do advertise no air-conditioning, but they could at the very least put fans in the room when they know its over 30 in the middle of summer. There was no lift, but they do allow you to request ground floor rooms, I was on the top floor, but I honestly enjoyed the exercise.

Great location , basic hotel but great value and we have stayed here several times. Staff are really friendly. Ford was especially helpful and made us feel very welcome
